I' ll post pictures and such daily (well, hopefully). Sadly the only press conference I managed to get into was Nintendo' s. Sony and Microsoft wouldn' t hook me up which was disappointing. Oh well. I' ll also give some rundowns on the behind closed doors meetings I have scheduled. All in all it should be a fun week.

I' m actually into the new dashboard. I love the idea of 8 person chat, plus the netflix thing. But damn, the FF thing really caught me off guard. I wonder how much the new Portal game for XBLA is going to be.

I agree with you on the dashboard. I really like the look of the dashboard itself, but I am not sold completely on the avatars. Other than that it looks like MS had themselves a fantastic press conference.

Damn, that came from left field.

So I missed the beginning of the conference since I was out eating breakfast. I have to go back and watch the Gears, Fallout 3, and RE5 stuff (all of which I should be seeing at the event itself anyway in the booths and meetings). I came in when they were announcing the avatars and dashboard. That press conference was just failing all over the place, especially the stupid family games and crap.

Then Wada came out and I started yelling " FFXIII!!!!" but he just showed the games we' ve already heard. When he left I labeled this press briefing the biggest E3 failure I' ve seen. Then Wada came back out and I knew before the trailer even ran the 360 just landed FFXIII. Then the trailer started and I think I just witnessed the biggest megaton in gaming history.

Unless Sony pulls out a fully playable demo on stage of God of War 3 that looks like it was crafted by gods or announces Gears (which still wouldn' t be as big), Microsoft has just cleaned the floor with E3. I mean really... HOLY SH*T!

I can' t wait to read all of the crying, whining, bitching, and moaning at Gamefaqs over the news of Final Fantasy 13 not being an exclusive! OHHHHHHHH I can' t wait! Way to go Microsoft! Actually, I think that while Scene It, You in the Movies and that 1 vs. 100 gameshow thingy were boring, Lips is really exciting. I always hated the selection of songs you had with Singstar, and being able to use the music of your MP3 player FOR FREE sounds like a great idea for me.
