I was wondering since Ps3' s are region free, if a Euro ps3 could run ps2 NTSC games from North America.

I have no way of checking whether PAL ps2 games work on North American ps3' s as I don' t have any.

The reason I just thought about this is because of the article Kikizo just did on Persona 3 finally heading to Europe. For those with ps3' s waiting on the game, it would have been nice if they could just order it on the cheap from NA.

It would also be nice if it worked as finding rare ps2 games on ebay would be easier if you had access to Europe and North American sellers.

I think NTSC PS2 games would not work on Euro PS3' s, cause the PS2 games are region locked. I could be wrong though, I' ve never tried.

Dagashi, The PS2 games are region lock i' m afraid. So only PAL PS2 games on a PAL PS3.

Whats the deal with 360 games? Is it up to the developer whether a game is region free or not?
