Has anybody bought one of these cases yet?! I REALLYwant one but i don' t know what the quality is like.

I don' t think it looks nice in black... looks really... well it makes me think of a vcr for some reason..

Would you have to take your old case off, thus voiding the warranty? Hmm i' d be less than happy to do that...

I was gonna get one but it' s kinda crap really it looks like shiny black plastic if that makes sense.

I believe it is, officially, any way. There was things like for the dreamcast too, probably everything else too. People just love to kitt up their consoles

Yeah this would invalidate my warranty but it' s a 2 minute job as the 360' s case comes off easily and the metal box that contains the kit would simply fit into this case, then snap the matching faceplate on.

Good question. But why don' t car manufacturers release modded/kitted versions of their cars?! I don' t get it either because i' m sure that releasing this kind of stuff officially would push the sales even more.

Because it voids the warranty. Once the consumer opens it up and fudges their console up, they will complain to ms for a new free console.

Yo!! that XCM Black 360 case looks pretty swift, I woulden' t mine getting that to mod my 360, another intrest in mind is a corbin-fiber case sweet it is.

yeah I saw one carbon fibre case on ebay, he sold it for silly money.

For all out UK readers - BUY CASES FROM THE US, the exchange rate means if you look hard enough you can get a case for £15 compared to £60 in the UK.

I like the halo green one too. I' ve got the official sega clear yellow DC case mod for my non regulation 7 DC underway, want to do something o my original xbox too, but now this is tempting me now too -

Don' t do tacky mods, just a nice " wow " factor!

After building my arcade cabinet everything else pales into comparison really. Still, that is now sold as Im hoping to move house, so my next challenges must be far more intricate!
