mister 464pac, i do remember well that goldeneye and banjokazooie had drops in framerates.. and even ridgeracer on psone when many cars were on screen, the funny thing is: i thought it was a special effect to make it dramatic old days old days ... see? ignorance is a bliss !!

Aww, come on!

Sonic only had slowdown in the 2d days when you lost a mass amount of rings.

Notice in the 3d ones he only lost like 5, even though he had 600 or something..

I' ve had the framerate drop in Mario 64 before, so it' s not unheard of for great games to have that problem.

...yeah i get what your trying to say saberewolf, but i don' t think it' s very fair for you to compare x360 with any Nintendo or Sega machine.... ...they have totally different priorities, target audiences and gaming philosophies...

....you should of just saved your cash, rather than buying a x360 with the expectation that it and it' s games were going to somehow match the particular asian standards that a Sega or Sony made machine might have.....

.....by now, anyone with half a brain would know what to expect generally from a Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony made machine....

...you have really no one to blame but your self... ....


Yeah because everyone(especially Europe) knows what to expect from sony


Yeah you should have saved your cash so you would have been a fraction of the way there to being able to afford a PS3

You have to keep in mind that regardless of how powerful video game consoles become with each passing generation, developers will always push their performance to the point where the framerate in some games with fluctuate... This is true of the Xbox 360, this will be true of the PlayStation 3 and future consoles..

sonic 2 slowed down so much when you did split screen versus races. But it was still awesome and worth it for how much more detailed the graphics were.

Sonic 2 was also running at double the resolution the Genesis normally does during the split screen segments.

Actually , after Gears of War.. (and im not 100 percent sure thats gona be as good as fanboys claim). I' m definatley going to be selling my 360..

After going back to my PC Ive realised theres no need for me to have a 360..

Wii and a Visa, multi-core next gen PC will do me just fine for my gameplay and graphical needs..

Owning a 360 leaves me no need to own a PS3! Worse graphics, more expensive games.

Yeah, thats right there about..

Sonic 2 uses the Megadrive Interlace mode 2 which provides double the vertical resolution (320×448 for NTSC, 320x480 for PAL).

Id keep the 360, because what do you do when advancments in technology make an upgrade that you need, just keep buying them? Where as the 360 will play whatever games they make, so you dont have to keep buying graphics cards, etc.

Not really, After my next PC, i' tll be a good 4/five years before im gonna need another upgrade, by that time the next Xbox should be on its way too.

I also love my FPS' s, but i also want M&K and min 60FPS as standard.. 360 does not meet my requirements.

No need for me to have one for anything else IE RPG' s,.. especially when the Best Zelda game is around the corner..

You know Sony did promise you 120FPS at one point! Then 60 FPS They also promised Dual HDMI 7 controllers at once What was it? 4.2 Ghz Core? They also promised we would have the console in the spring They promised a global launch They said they wouldnt have unified network You what, im done believing anything Sony says! and so should everyone else [:' (]

That' s sounds like a sarcastic complaint directed to people that are none too happy
with framerate problems in some of their games..

Unless of course your PC is actually experiencing such problems, then for that I
