are we serious ? i mean almost all 360 games i have played is 30 fps with drops.

This is about software and hardware playing catch-up to each other and the more sophisticated the game, the more sophisticated the hardware has to be to run it.

then why n64 games was at 30 fps as a standard OH DARKRIFT AND FZEROX WAS 60 FPS IN 4 PLAYER TOO.
and DREAMCAST WAS 60 FPS ??
and why all benchmarks LOOK FRAMES AND RESOLUTION to SCORE ?
because from the frames and resolution you can say how strong a machine is....
in case of 360 and xbox we have lots of games in 30 fps and below just to show off
some cool effects.

There' s always something going on and getting drunk is always mandatory. Still, it' s not as bad as it was last year, although this years freshers week is a complete blur. It' s half term next week and i have many parties to attend and much drinking to do!

I had a couple of Halloween party invites and can' t decide which to go to, or whether i should try and hit them all. Maybe i should just go trick-or-treating with some local kids instead!

...yeah i get what your trying to say saberewolf, but i don' t think it' s very fair for you to compare x360 with any Nintendo or Sega machine.... ...they have totally different priorities, target audiences and gaming philosophies...

....you should of just saved your cash, rather than buying a x360 with the expectation that it and it' s games were going to somehow match the particular asian standards that a Sega or Sony made machine might have.....

.....by now, anyone with half a brain would know what to expect generally from a Nintendo, Microsoft or Sony made machine....

You have to keep in mind that regardless of how powerful video game consoles become with each passing generation, developers will always push their performance to the point where the framerate in some games with fluctuate... This is true of the Xbox 360, this will be true of the PlayStation 3 and future consoles..
