This generation the honor goes to the entire NFL Fever series. Every game was horrible...I even had to beta test it for Xbox Live which was the worst time of my life on Xbox Live.

I' ve thought of some more.
Sonic Spinball was pretty horrid. Bought it because of everyone' s favourite blue spikey hero. WCW Nitro was fairly bad too. I was a big wrestling fan in my youth but that game was almost painful to play. Thankfully WCW Thunder didn' t come out for PC or I might have bought that with the misconception that it might have been better.
