went and saw the amityville horror....never saw the original, but i' d like to say this was pretty good. i' m such a baby when it comes to scary movies though, so me giving this a scrainess rating is biased.

Yeah, the amityville horror scared the sh*t out of me. I will never look at Van Wilder the same way again. I did infact watch that movie right after coming how just to calm myself down.

Ya I heard that movie wasnt all that great but Ryan Renolds played his part quite well and was scary as hell. Chickapoo doesnt wanna see it cause she thinks it looks dumb...blah shes just plain Chicken I think Ima probably wait for DVD to see this.

The remakes always seem to lose that magic of the original... Have Chickapoo see the original version...it will scare the stuffing out of her! Same with the Exorcist...new one OK, old one horrifyingly scary!

Saw both the Interpeter and Kung Fu Hustle. The Interpeter almost made me fall asleep. It definately wasn' t anything special. Kung Fu Hustle was awesome though. Definaltey buyin it when it comes out. I get to see all my movies for free from now on so I' ll be seeing a lot more than normal. I' ll give you the heads up on it. I' ll also be seeing Star Wars:Episode III a week early and I' ll let you guys know how it is.

Terry, for you I can do that. But just because you asked so nicely. And here i was thinking that i leave most movies going " meh, it was ok" . I think I only talk about the awful ones. Last night i watched Rocky III, I love Rocky. It didn' t suck! I also watchedCloser. It made me go " what the???" a bit. I can' t say I loved it, but it was interesting and had me captivated for the most part. It wasn' t what I was expecting, but that was ok. Clive Owen gets major thumbs up for that movie

my Wife and Sister in law rented Alfie a few nights ago to watch as well Rika. I no longer talk to them. As for the movie Closer, I heard Natalie Portman gets three thumbs up for her role in that movie!

Natalie Portman does a great job in that movie. I was impressed by her in Garden State as well. She is actually becomming a really good actress.

Watched Around the World in 80 Days and laughed constantly - I' m a big fan of Jackie Chan. My kids though didn' t think it was anything special, which surprised me. Will be watching Oceans Twelve and Bourne Supremacy this weekend.
