I' m not surprised at all. There was alot of speculation that Henry would go. Arsenal had a 2 poor seasons. The current Arsenal squad is very inexperienced and on very poor form.

Barcelona have been trying to sign Henry for ages, but for him he' s going from a club where he was top dog to one where the existing forward line consists of Ronaldinho, Eto' o and Messi. Basically its come out best for Arsenal, they get £16M for a guy who hasn' t cut it for the last 18 months, is 31 and is almost perpetually injured now, and they can go and spend the dosh on a striker who fits in with their current team ethic.

Is 29 and was the golden boot winner the season prior to this, he was injured this season, which was his only bad season for us, no Arsenal didn' t get the best of the deal, once agins the board have sold an asset for next to nothing.

What is this " current team ethic?" He wanted to win, the team wanted to win, we lost 4 or 5 key players to injury and the rest of the squad were too inexperienced. The players out were: Gallas,Van Persie,Henry,Ljunberg,Rosicky. Plus we lost Walcott just as he was starting to look worth the money, that coupled with the stupidity of a certain Howard Webb in the Carling cup and us loosing Adebayor and Toure because of it, and you' ll find it was a tough season for Arsenal, one of the toughest in quite a few years. He has gone because of Dein' s resignation and the fact that there is instability in the higher eschelons of the club...You can blame Mr Kroenke for that.
