Having stood at a comparison between the 2 systems there is nothing and I mean nothing at the moment to distinguish one from the other. The 2 systems were on like for like screens playing the same game. Until something really jumps up and says this is the game the PS3 is going to be a rich boys toy. Motorstorm looks fun but that' s about it, it doesn' t make me want to shell out £500 on a console and game.

As representatives of todays gamers.. I can see why things non-Nintendo are not progressing if you cant even see and admire the clear difference in animation, and physics that MS offers. I dont particular care about the game either.. but i admire its visuals.. Im glad i can tell the difference.

My friend and coworker played it last week at a Sony press event, the newest code... he laughed. HE said it had nice lighting... and... yeah... Btw, all the courses look the same. They are all in the desert and use basically the same textures. The amount of cars per race has been lowered to fix the framerate. He said features have been pulled since the E3 build we both played. The main one he was pissed to see leave was the ground physics that change as the ground is worn down during laps has been taken out. He said it' s nothing to look forward to. He' s buy it for $20 but nothing more. All the screens and videos that have been officially released are doctored. I like seeing how smooth everything looks in the screens because in person the jaggies are almost too much to handle.

Apparently Motorstorm isn' t the Killer ap ps3 fans have been waiting for (score = 75%). ALthough most people here don' t trust there reviews its still interesting. BTW they though Need for Speed Carbon was better (85%)

MGS: portable ops- 6 What? What was bad about it? I must know! If you didn' t like the other games in the series either than you don' t need to reply.

Portable Ops is reason enough alone to buy a PSP. How anybody could pass up the combination of Portable Ops, Dark Resurrection and PSone games i' ll never know...

(apart from the alleged Halo-killer, Resistance Fall of Man)... nice to see that 5 years and 1 hardware generation later someone managed to top it

.....are you sure about that?, ' cause this December 11 clip seems to totally refute that claim...[/link] Actually Rampage could very well be right. While the guy says that the mud gets slippy, they appear to have removed the deformable terrain which was one of their biggest talking points. The game looks good but nowhere near as impessive as f3 makes out.

Nobody here has played the Final code of the game, so I dont know what all this bashing is about, one things for certain, Low textures/over blurrnwhatever, isnt going to stop me enjoying a fun game. If its crap, you can bash but heck, anything ps3 related gets bashed here like no tomorrow.

Thing is, Reguardless of how good Motorstorm is or not.. The advanced Physics seen in the in game videos are soo obvious, it simply moves much more fluid than any 360 /PC game (reguardless of 30/60fps)..

How far can people go before being banned from forums these days? As much as i may dissagree with someone, i would never go as low as insulting them personally man, thats just pointless.
