That' s what I' ve been saying. Nintendo are cheap and will make money from day one while Microsoft and Sony are nice friends of ours that basically give us stuff for free.

The feature' s they' re including in the Wii are definately worth the price paid, I just thought they' d be a little more generous with their pricing.

Eddie the wii is worth its price,but people are getting abit afraid when they see wii-far cry looking worse then a N64 game.

Ofc Mario galaxy looks freaking fantastic but its not out until next year sometimes.

They' ll be the only company not losing money on every machine sold. That has to be good. They' ve said they' ll be breaking even at first but will soon start making profit.

It' s been so long since someone fired out a Wii joke, I figured it was about time.

I like the price, it means those not really sure about the Wii won' t get one and those that are hardcore and truly want one (like me!) have a better chance of getting one, And when there is enough to go round drop the price and open the flood gates!!

However i am puzzled at sonys decision to make the lower ps3 version cheaper and added HDMI? What they didn' t think they could sell the 100k ps3s for US$600 at launch?

the price drop is for Japan, I believe HDMI is for everyone.
