That' s what I' ve been saying. Nintendo are cheap and will make money from day one while Microsoft and Sony are nice friends of ours that basically give us stuff for free.
But I' m still getting a Wii. Those bastards, they knew I would get it even with a high price tag so they chose the highest possible. It' s all a plot to mess with me

The feature' s they' re including in the Wii are definately worth the price paid, I just thought they' d be a little more generous with their pricing.

Eddie the wii is worth its price,but people are getting abit afraid when they see wii-far cry looking worse then a N64 game.

Yeah, I' m speaking in hardware terms, but I doubt nintendo is dumb enough to throw something as awful looking as Far-Cry Vengeance as a flagship title. People will be busy drooling over our favorite gay plumber poppin' shrooms & flying through the galaxy. Sorry, there' s my cheap shot on Mario.

It' s been so long since someone fired out a Wii joke, I figured it was about time.

I like the price, it means those not really sure about the Wii won' t get one and those that are hardcore and truly want one (like me!) have a better chance of getting one, And when there is enough to go round drop the price and open the flood gates!!

However i am puzzled at sonys decision to make the lower ps3 version cheaper and added HDMI? What they didn' t think they could sell the 100k ps3s for US$600 at launch?

the price drop is for Japan, I believe HDMI is for everyone.

Yeah, everybody get' s HDMI. It' s just the finnicky Japaneese market that gets the price drop.

I' m taking it, there wasn' t a link to said rumor? It' s possible, It would be off the beaten path for Sony, which, given the number of curveballs they' ve thrown us in the last couple of months, is pretty realistic.
