My grandfather served overseas with a guy who didn' t meet his girl until the week before they were married. It' s odd to be sure, but I don' t think it' s limited to the internet age.

Whats funnier is my family kinda just expected it of me to a degree, when i told mum all she said was, " Oh, okay. Better get a job so you can pay to go and see him then."
That and would occasionally come in and talk to him on MSN with me, or skype when i was on a computer that could handle it.
And its not a penfriend... not at all.

I was also a little drunk at the time...among other things. The night before I tested myself. Had a very very attractive chick over all weekend and she was pretty much in the nude asking for a massage and what not.
