No offense but why are perople surprised he didn' t die any otherway?. That' s like me thinking houdini would have died sitting in a pensioners home on the toilet.

I think we all knew one of these days one of the animals would get the better of him, and I' ll be the first to admit that sometimes i was cheering on the croc and hoping he got bit. But when it actually happens it really sucks. Kudos to Steve for a good decade of truly entertaining antics. Rest in peace, you' ll truly be missed.

How sad. I really liked that guy. He died young too, 44 years old. I guess this opens up a spot for someone else to become " the new Crocodile Hunter" ...

How sad. I really liked that guy. Yes its extremely sad. I really liked him too. I loved watching his shows. He is a legend. What makes it even sadder is that he leaves behind his two young children and his wife. My deepest sympathies go out to them. Steve Irwin you will be sorely missed, may you Rest In Peace.

...a real shame.... ...the guy was most definitely a total nutter, but he didn' t deserve to die in such a lame fashion (only 3 people in Australia' s entire history have ever died in such a way) ...i' ve had some really funny life experiences watching his shows whilst f*ked out of my mind on drugs, hanging out with friends and sh*t... ...i bet his wife is distraught ...

...that' s a far too generalised statement, but for the sake of keeping this topic on subject, i agree... ...stay away from both legal and illegal drugs, kids... ...stay in school, remember to tell your mom how much you lover her every night before bed, avoid red meat, save your virginity for the marriage bed, ALWAYS be kind to animals and make a habit of giving thanks to your particular god for the food you eat and the warm bed you sleep in...

Narcotics Bish you sarcastic bastard. If there' s a medical need then obviously drugs are good but anybody (and i mean anybody) who uses them for recreational purposes needs their teeth kicking through the back of their skull.

C' mon now, fellas. Everyone has the right to choose what they do with their lives and their minds. I have never touched an illicit drug in my life, and I also don' t smoke or drink, but that' s MY choice, and I don' t push that on anyone. Hopefully Bishonen will get it out of his system early on in life, and will enjoy a long and healthy existence. Oh, and yeah, it' s sad that the Crocodile Hunter has passed away. He always entertained, that' s for sure!
