I saw that it said Multiplayer demo so I avoided it given that the last multiplayer demo I downloaded was, well, multiplayer only. Am I mistaken this time, does this demo have a single player mode as well?

Ah crap, I thought the vids for mp looked a bit poo tbh. I enjoyed Chaos Theory, so I want to try the sp for Double Agent. CT was the only one I liked though so far.

Any impressions? I already wasted a lot of time downloading PSU, I don' t want to waste more time.

I' ve been stuck at " Joining Session, please wait..." kind of thing.

I' m ignoring te online part right now and started a system link coop thing. Ive been playing few just a couple minutes and it already looks pretty fun. One thing Ive noticed right off the bat is you can now really hide in the shadows I cant see my character at all. Well anyways I can see the guards in the distance so Im get back to it with more detailed thoughts on everything in the game for now after just a few minutes its pretty fun.

EDIT: Its just me in the game with AI opponents might as well get some practice first.

EDIT EDIT: Got some online play in as a merc and found it very very fun. Nothing like watching your teammate grab a spy by the neck and headbutt' m. Im gonna try and get into one as a spy and see how that is.

I found the demo acceptable. It' s not as good as Chaos Theory though, that' s something that should be made clear right now. It' s easier to play as a spy now which i think is pretty annoying, but it' s also possible to trverse the levels easier and quicker which is good.

Spies can take too much damage for my liking, and maybe it' s just me, but in video' s i watched of the 360 version about a month ago spies could somersault and i haven' t been able to do so in this build.

Playing as a merc is pretty cool but the controls for the drone are really stupid.

It' s been well thought out but i prefered the inbalance found in Chaos Theory. I liked playing as a spy and having to be really good to stand a chance against the mercs. Now it' s too easy.

Graphically it' s nice and there are some cool effects but it doesn' t look as good as the single player game and i' d say that GRAW' s multiplayer component actually look better too.

I' ll be playing it, but as soon as Rainbow Six hits next month i' ll be switching to that and GRAW will have to take a back seat. I can' t see myself playing this regulary, though that could change when i' ve played more of it.

Its a damn shame we can' t setup our own rooms in the demo. I do like the menu setups but I' m getting annoyed with that voiceover for some reason.

Any details on the single player demo?

Played it, was pretty cool playing as a spy, merc is not so cool.

Sometimes I get behind a Merc, and have nothing in my arsenal to plant an elbow

Me too, and when I do get in, there' s only 2-3 little nooblets on there going in and out between ready & not ready because they have commitment issues.

Hahahaha, ...you need to be 100% behind the merc to snap their neck and ideally the merc should be stationary. It' s a lot harder to do now but for good reason. I was playing as a spy last night and despite my initial dislike for the changes i really enjoyed it. I still think spies can take too much damage though...

Yeah, I figured it out after watching the " How to play" demos... (I feel Pot Noodle
dirty after watching any kind of those videos)...

I love being a spy as you have a better insight into the actual building, where
as the mercs vision is a bit limited and I can' t find how to change the controls to
inverted controls...

I am trying to become the ultimate spy in SC:DA, I am usually good at infiltration and extraction so...
