You' re not wrong.
I' t a major chore at the moment.
One day it will be a great list.
Right now it' s updated only every so often...
There is a solution though. Somewhere.

maybe volenteers ...? you know, put up a request thing for ppl to gather the dates and what not for each section

for example:

forum user 1 - PS2 (US) release dates
forum user 2 - PS2 (UK) release dates

get one perosn for each catagory (maybe even give 2 to a person if help is limited). Start with the games section then move on to the Movies. Or neway you see more benifitial.

I myself dont mind gathering a list for X-Box (US). Just tell me the dates needed or a list of games or somin along those lines

Fable has been pushed to 09/01.

Gee..another delay. Now who could' ve guessed that after three years of hype?

I dislike phantom-ware.

Funny thing is although I reside in the UK I know more about US Xbox Release dates rather than UK Release dates, any of you know why how many times Unreal 2 has been delayed in the UK and Why.....

People complain about delays all the time and yes they suck but why complain? I preordered the original StarCraft supposedly two months before its initial release. I didn' t recieve my copy until 2 and a half years later. Did I get a bit frustrated with the delay? Of course, who wouldn' t? In the end though I couldn' t have been happier. The game is simply one of the best, if not the best RTS games out. Blizzard is an amazing company and has yet to release a poor title. The same company is plauged by delays. Every single game has been delayed and delayed and delayed. I basically don' t care anymore. All I can hope is that the delays mean it' ll be better. As long as the wait i worth it, there' s no reason to get uptight.

Delays are a part of the industry, and if it' s worth it in the end, that' s great. But there are some things that, as consumers, we should NOT put up with. I don' t appreciate being treated like so much sheep, who will lap up anything pretty just so long as we get new screenshots every month. Publishers who do that know that we' ll just buy the game no matter how long they delay it, and drive up the hype even further. It' s a well-known PR tactic.

Delays for a few months, even a year, is expected. But Fable was first heard of as Project Ego back in 2001. It has had full out-lays in OXM as early as 2002. It' s been heard about, again and again, over and over. It is delayed yet again, and may not even make it out this year. One year can be expected on a big new release, but FOUR years? It is simply unacceptable. There is no other industry on the planet where consumers will tolerate such behavior.

So I have a personal message for Peter Molyneux: Either put up, or shut up. I' m sick of hearing about your needed time for " extra tweaking." I' m sick of hearing the exact same information presented with different words to make it sound " new and fresh." Provide me with a product, or SHUT IT. If it' s great, than congrats on a job well done. If it' s not, I doubt I' ll play anything you make ever again...not just for the mediocrity of the game, but for the three years of hype that you personally sparked.

Best Delayed game I can think of was Hidden and Dangerous 2, and when it finally came out, it went by un-noticed...

A bit harsh but I see where you are coming from. It is very annoying to have seen full playable builds of the game and even Teamxbox got their own hands on session with the game and now they are saying it won' t be out for quite some time again. Frustrating as it is, we don' t get to choose what is going on behind the scenes. Hell, we really have no idea what is going on. Based on descriptions given out this is a major task that no other company has even tried. A full evolutionary world with a living world full of intellegent NPCs, and ever changing world where you can step on a seed and a tree will grow, and a completely unique character for everyone that plays. This type of game something no one even wanted to attempt. New things take time and some major work.

Let' s just say that I don' t think Fable will be half of what it claims to be.

If so, it still could be one hell of a game because it claims to be a lot. If it sucks though I' ll be the first to tear it apart.

usually delays are for the better, usually. I don' t mind the delays, i know they are making the game even better. Patience is a virtue.
