Yeah, It seems so. Well, as much as I really don' t mind pink, I gotta say... WTF? Is this what Sony should really be worrying about? It' s almost like some kind of distraction, to keep people busy and not worrying about all the supposed PS3 problems. This is definately a letdown.

Sony have said that the convention will be " ground zero" for PS3 announcements so there' s a lot of stuff to come. The whole " big announcement on Monday" thing seems to have gone tits up though. A pink PS2 and a pink PSP to attract girl-gamers is lame, Sony seem to have completely lost touch with their userbase.

It is kind of stupid considering that there aren' t many (if any) games that girls could enjoy - like stuff that DS offers now.

did anyone complain about the pink ds? and s lite pink in japan now/soon right?

Either way i hope not, love a choice of colours.... hate when they show a console (ps3/gc) and then release it in a different colour (ps3, silver white and black to just black) (gc with yellow/spice etc and we get black and purple (in the west))

...yeah i love it when they release special coloured limited editions of consoles...

i have just done talking to my man in Leipzig and he told me many things.

The pink version of the PSP and PS2 are expected to sell huge in France, Italy and England, SONY really whants to grab the one market where Nintendo DS isnt the king, they belive that its a key market to cut down nintendo big sales in the handheald market.

SONY gave a hole lot of (i guess maked up) numbers saying the PSP has outsold the Nintendo DS and DS Lite by half million units (yeah rigth) and how solid its the PSP market in both hardware and software

The PS one emulator is expected to come attached to the October firmware update, and sortly after the online store for the PS one games is gonna open, there u will be able to get a pick of the PS3 online system, ate first the great games are gonna be SONY and Square Enix.

SONY its about to take matters into their own hands about theUMD fiasco,they are gonna make the format alot cheaper and whit the titles they think are more appealing to the PSP users

PS3 developers are pretty happy whit the PS3, they have no bundaries this time, and even SONY wants them to use the tilt feature of the PS3 controller they arent pusshing anybody, the same whit the in-game keyboard support.

It looked exteremly ' bog standard' at e3. But it has been a Few months. 40+ sounds very cool, hopefully the graphics + single player will live up to it.
