which are you going to buy first and why?

im gonna wait for the ps3 to come out myself, only cause it is going to have a bad ass nvidia card like twice as fast as the new 7800gtx, which is like the best video card for the computer that they make. once you put a hd on there its supposed to be just a super fast pc basically. gonna be sweet. ill prolly end up gettin xbox360 though, cause its gonna let the psp interface with it, and how freakin sweet will that be?

360 because it' s going to be out first.

Then i' ll buy the Revolution because (based on some speculation I heard) it' s going to be second.

Then the PS3 simply because it will more than likely be the last console released this gen.

I.E. I' m buying them in order of release.

i dig, but im still in school so im on a fixed income, so i have to pick and choose in order of priority, which is hard. who knows though, i might break down and buy the xbox360 first, cause youre right, it comes first. and i dont know if i can wait until march for ps3.

I' m like Lotusson. I' ll be getting all three when they hit the market, but my most anticipated console is the Xbox 360!

From the general speculation that' s floating around, the PS3 will probably be available LATE 2006. Some sources even say that it could be pushed back to 2007!

The PSP interface is just for downloading/uploading music, so I don' t think it' s that big a deal.

So J_Dizzle, which system(s) do you have now?

gamecube, ps2, a broken ps2, xbox, psp, and a wicked old 1st gen gameboy. and virtual boy, only thats broken to. i dont think nintendo is doing anything thats any good anymore. dont get me wrong, they were kings in there day, but its about time to throw in the towel. what systems do YOU have?

Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, GBA, and Nintendo 64. The Xbox gets most of the love, though right now I' m addicted to FFX on the PS2.

every copy i bought ended up messing up during the fight with sin. could be that i never shut it off as long as i had it. i played that game a lot. than bought it again, and played it again. than messed up blockebusters copy, but told them it came like that. i had bad luck with that game. but i did win the first blitzball game, and i dont know anyone else who did.

Boooooo to PS3! Shame on you Sony, trying to cheat us with that mess...

My vote (by default) goes to the Xbox 360, but it does just plain rule. Except for the price tag, in which I might not buy one anytime soon.. Heh, thinking about price, PS3 would' ve been the first on my list eliminated anyway..

My vote goes to ' other' , ie: Revolution, because it' ll be the only system a human being can afford, and hey, I love me some Mario..

seriously, revolution first? thats crazy. nintendo is like a distant 3rd in this race. they are so far behind, its like a whole new race. plus, for all the stuff you can do, id say the price for both xbox360 and ps3 seem entirly reasonable. especially considering that ps3 has a graphics chip twice as good as any available for pc and the whole system will cost less than one of the pc chips.

All I want is to play some fun games at a price point I can AFFORD, and right now, I believe Nintendo' s the only one that' ll provide that for me. I' m not shelling out 400-500 dollars for a system just because the games look a little shinier on the screen. And I don' t care about all those extra features, like the DVD and the Media Center; I can get my own damn DVD player. I want a system that provides me with FUN. I don' t care about 360' s launch titles. And if I' m not interested in 360 anymore, then I' m definately not interested in PS3, because they' re the same thing. Revolution will make me reminisce with retro games, provide me with revolutionary interaction in games, great multiplayer, and great graphics in a sleek and (supposedly) affordable package, so that does it for me.

Yep, it' s gonna be one hell of a card. The 360 card is apparently more powerful though.

It' s a custom ATi card cald Xenos I believe. It' s the first card to integrate ram directly on to the card. this allows 4x anti-aliasing, poly shaders, and pixel shaders without drawing off of any other hardware which greatly increases system performance.

damn, bill gates is one ice cold dude. maybe xbox 360 has some balls yet. i was a little bit concerned though, when i saw it crash on tv. but oh how i laughed.

The Xenos also has Unified Shader Architecture. Potentially this is its biggest trump card. It will allow it to bypass the pixel and vertex shader bottlenecks that happen on pretty much every other graphics card in existance. Cool stuff.
