Not enough recognition - Jul 25, 2005 11:29
There is only a handful of individual game designers who are recognised (such as Hideo Kojima and Shigeru Miyamoto) and I think this is a bit sad.

I feel that more should get the recognition they deserve and hope that the day comes that even non and less clued up gamers know at least the names Kojima, Miyamoto and company much like the average person knowing of the existance of Steven Speilberg.

But what I truly want is to hear of more talented individiuals residing in the games industry.

What do you lot think?

It' s hard to get recognized when you' re just one of a hundred people working on the same game. If someone wants to get recognized being talented won' t help. They' re going to have to go out of their way to get recognized.
