I know some major Hollywood releases see Thursday releases, and I can' t say for sure, but I think quite a few larger titles have been released on Thursdays as well too. Majik, Joe? Enlightenment please?

Whatever, while MGS4 is by far my most anticipated game for the PS3, I' m still more interested in the Spore Creature Creator (10$) being released next week. Creatures made the in the creator can be imported to the full game once it' s released in September. That' s the kind of shit I can lose myself in. I love creative stuff like that.

Many games get released in Japan on Thursdays. It' s a common day for releases there - always has been. Because the western market rivals the Japanese market in size, the bigger companies have been trying to release on the same day worldwide - so we end up with some games dropping on a Thursday.

I went to gametrailers.com and on the MGS 4 forum. They have alot of spoilers. Someone even uploaded alot of videos while playing the game. But I din' t click on any of the spoilers topic. I don' t want that to ruin the experience for me. They even have a topic full of spoilers for the intro of MGS 4. I was going to click on that topic but I change my mind at the end. I don' t know but I feel like reading that spoiler for the intro. I don' t think that will ruin the whole experience.

yeah I play the first 2 game and I also play MGS 3 snake eater.
About raiden I really hated him in MGS 2. he really ruined the experience for me. I was very dissapointed that the whole plant chapter you only play as him. I know he is making an appearance in MGS 4 and I' m hoping you don' t get to play as him.

Yeah, I' ve played all MGS' s, and frankly, I had no troubles with Raiden. I thought it was pretty cool to experience what Snake experiences through the eyes of a rookie. Plus, Raiden is the origin of so many great jokes in the MGS universe.

I did hate Rosemary, she was one annoying c.unt (PS: I hate using that word, but that' s the best moniker for her)

oh yeah that rosemary was really annoying throughout the game. I hated those long and boring conversation with her everytime you saved your game. I heard in another forum that she will return in MGS 4. She and raiden are suppose to be married and had a baby.

2) God of Thunder, cool guy. I saw him picking up chicks at the bar the other day.

I really didn' t like Raiden in MGS2. The character switch was a bad decision on Kojimas part - although i do understand why he did it. The Tanker, playing as Snake was definitely the best part of the wholegame.

The Playstation original remains one of the best games i' ve ever played.

MGS4 is better than both.

Nice! I' ll still be getting the game on Thursday. My friend is giving me his PS3 for the next couple of weeks so I' m set to go. The original MGS is also imo one of the greatest games of all time and if this is truly better than that I' m stoked.

I have played all MGS games multiple times, I love them to death they are brillant.

Raiden was cool, I didnt mind the swap as much as other people but Snake will always be the star of mgs.. well.. not untill after mgs4 I guess lol. Rosemary was a bitch and I hope she gets bad AIDS for boring me so bad, hopefully she will appear ingame so I can shoot her myself. Kojima said that relationship was based on his marriage... poor guy . He also said that he would bring back every mgs Character but I dont see how Big Boss/Olga/Gray Fox/solidus etc. can return [nevermind those in mgs po like Gene].

I always thought the switch to Ninja Radien was a great choice, now everybody loves him, altough I dont think things will end will for him.. I say he might actually become evil or a boss due to the white nanomachine blood he has. I dunno if thats going to happen though, but its been hinted at since the tgs 07 trailer.

Ninja Raiden can still suck it. He' s wearing high heals. Him being a cyborg ninja doesn' t redeem that.

Like Silent said... switching from pussy Raiden to cyborg ninja Raiden was a good move...

Same here I thought I heard that we would get in game xmb when around mgs4 release lets hope so.
