I' ve been to cosplay conventions, read the fanfics, been on the fansites, the livejournals, and what not. And TRUST me, YES, most of the Final Fantasy characters ARE GIRLS. Who like gay/bishonen men. That' s why Cloud and Sephiroth follow the archetype from yaoi/shounen-ai(aka Boy' s Love) manga - the seme and uke (aka dominant and subservient) partners. Heck, they even follow the height rule, which is that the taller one and/or more masculine one is the dominant one in the r/s and takes the primo position during sex.

Thrat' s not proof! Hentai is Japanese. Besides Its not very hard to find gay/lesbian Hentai. The fact that you say FF characters there just goes back to what I' ve been saying. Japanese boys are just as bad as the girls, while American/European girls are not the same way.

I dont think cloud and sephiroth are that feminine though... neither is squall from ff8, zidane and tidus are deffinetely homos though.

All these characters are like age 16-19 which explains their boyish looks, I mean at that age they' re still kids really, I dont expect a 17 year old main lead to look like hulk cogan.
