I think they' re making dumb excuses for him now. I think they said his kid had some type of disease called Fragile X syndrome? And that it drove him to insanity

Regression to inferior choices is worse, actually. Factor 5 did not put in SixAxis controls to be dumbfucks. I' m sure the game is playable/enjoyable without analog flippery.

Actually, multiple previews have all agreed that the SIXAXIS function feels clunky and less responsive than an analog stick. Supposedly their current application of the accellerometers in the controller make it a bit drifty. Kind of like having the accelerate feature set to on on a PC mouse.

Well, I' m not going to contest that, but most everybody who has played Warhawk agrees that Sixaxis motion sense is the best way to go. If Factor 5 fucks it up, then fuck them.

Now that I can agree with. They' re too good to trash a game with a simple control cock-up.

I always had very high hopes for LAIR and i can say that quite easily is the most impressive game i' ve ever seen in consoles tech wise, the amount of stuff going on is insane and everything in 1080p native with 7.1 channels, even tho the gameplay looks repetitive the stellar plot and music should more than make up for it.

Finally comparing this game with Gears of Wars is just stupid, Gears is like one endless corridor completely linear and with very few enemys on screen, in LAIR you have hundreds on enemys on screen at once and a huge landscape with the ability to go anywhere you want, this game is just beyond impressive from a technical stanpoint and it looks fantastic cant wait to get my hands on it as with Heavenly Sword,they both look insane.

I dunno when people say other parts of the game make up for the gameplay, if the gameplay is bad, nothing will make up for it and it will be a bad game.

I never said the gameplay was bad,i said it looks repetitive at times, but maybe not since we still haven' t seen the whole lot of moves your dragon will gain with time, besides, for me at least, a great, well based plot means a lot more than gameplay,thats why i cant stand playing online for a very long time.

Cinematic games tend to be less repetative, ...but they also tend to be shorter...

There' s a difference between a repetitive game-mechanic and a repetitive game.

How many years have RPGs been using the same Attack/Defend/Magic/Flee system? Only recently have developers really branched out into different methods. However the game itself isn' t repetitive because it can approach a stale formula from a different angle.

Oh, and for the record, the airborn combat is supposed to be fantastic. The ground-based combat is supposed to be clunky, akward & slow. Or at least that' s what it was like in the Beta build.

This is another games I am definatelyt adding to my pro PS3 list but I guess I will have to drool longingly and dream of my Halo3 and COD4(when I get them/come out) but that and the whole 360 breaking crap is defiantely making the PS3 more and more appealing but I still can' t get over the price.
