Halo has got THE WARTHOG.

The problem with the weapons is: Halo 1 had the handgun which simply kicked ass, unfortunely it was toned down in Halo 2 and the plasma sword took it' s place. Now we have to see which weapon will end up ruling in Halo 3. But driving Warthog was fantastic in every Halo so far.

The Spartan Laser.

It' s going to become iconic. I' ll put money on it.

Halo Warthdog is cool and all, however I' m mostly wondering if there is any weapon that stands out, kinda defines the series and would be mentioned in the top 10 list of video game weapons... sorta.

Closest thin I can think of, must be the Covenant Light Saber, that Zoy mentioned, yet I do not think it reaches all the way as an unforgettable weapon.

I changed my mind, with further thinking the Warthdog = Halo. Even though it' s a veichle with a mounted weapon.

Halo has the sticky grenades. Hours of fun for the whole family.

Oh! Totally forgot about that one! Hmmm... though call between the Warthdog and plasma grenade... hmmm.

Question! Back in the days of Goldeney, wheren' t you able to through remoye mines at your opponent, which stuck like glue on them, until you pushed the switch? Though slightly different, depending on the originality of the plasma grenade, the victor between the warthdog and the grenade might be decided.

Man, why you multiplayer addicts always gotta hate the needler? I love that weapon. It' s funny as hell to watch and elite run around looking like a purple porcupine before he explodes. I hope they don' t take it out of Halo3

In the Halo 3 beta, the needler was there, and if anything it was a bit overpowered. It' ll definitely be back, but I seem to recall them saying that it would no longer be dual-wieldable since it' s so much more powerful now.

Ahhh, that' s good news. It shouldn' t be dual wielded anyway, IMO. It doesn' t make sense for a locking/tracking weapon type.

Yeah, now I remember it being in the beta because someone got pissed with adam for saying it looked gay
