Games that you' ve had the most fun playing
-

Like it says it' s all about games you' ve had the most fun playing current, past or next gen. For me it' s (to name a few): Donkey kong country (1 and 2): This is one of the first games I played on the snes and i' d play for hours without putting it down or being bored every second of it was just pure fun and entertainment. Killer Instinct: Can' t really think of any words to describe it apart from one of the best fighting gamesof it' s period (imo). Powerstone: Yeah it' s a bit of a childish game but thats the thing it' s not full of 10 input combos and too hard to complete (for your average joe) levels. Smash bros: But The very early one don' t know why but I didn' t really like too much of the ones after especially melee for the gamecube The king of fighters Neo geo wasn' t really popular for long but I remember playing the king of fighters series and still being entertained. Zelda the ocarina of time & majora' s mask: These are two of my favourite of all the zelda series, the ocarina of time felt different to handle and had a really good storytelling adaptation (or so I feel) when taking on from the previuos series and you got to ride a horse. Majora' s mask to me had a kinda grim feeling but was weirdly the thing that made it so fun I even liked it when it got dark and you' d be roaming around in the cemetry. Buggy heat: Just pure four wheeling fun. (there are more but might list the other later).

Guardian Heroes (Saturn) Simply the game I' ve had most fun with ever. Single-player story mode, versus mode, Co-op story mode, multiplayer versus mode, 6-player ability it' s all fun! I still play it quite often.

Final Fantasy 7 best japanese rpg Kotor best western RPG Starcraft is the best strategy game ever,i was addicted to this as i some people was for or is for Counter strike. Best plattform game:mario 64,mario in 3d and not only that the game looked and played perfect. Best adventure:broken sword, love that baby :) Best fps:Halo,it never clicked for me with half life or quake2 but halo showed me why people love fps :) Best racing:Gran turismo/Pgr2,cant decie. oh ps! FF7 is the best game ever done. I like how people still discussed the story 8 years after the game and fighted :P I was half right it showed, the others was wrong.

NiGHTS: Short simple, re-play value forever.. Sonic 1 2 and 3: Those epic days when save points never existed (except on Sonic and Knuckles where you could save at the beginning of each level) Streets of Rage 1 + 2: Beat em ups at their peek (Side scrolling which tekken force has nothing on..) Crash Team Racing: I rate this higher than Mario Kart; it was more addictive and more amusing. GunStar Heroes: If you have ever played this on Mega Drive, you' ll find yourself asking what happened to shooting games now??? The Bouncer: It was crap, but fun to play a bad Squaresoft game. Killer Instinct: Orchid! Orchid! Orchid! Orchid! Street Fighter Alpha 3: Fight 2 Bisons for the price of 1 and never win. Shinobi: The MegaDrive 1! It' s crap on the PS2.. Only one Ninja can take on Batman, SpiderMan, and from what I remember, Robocop?? MegaDrive 3-in-1: Columns, Football Italia 90, and Super Hang on!! Where are the 3-in-1 games now??? Road Rash!!: One of those games that Motorstorm can thank for making motorbike racing grand!! Otogi: Beautiful and the guy had so much power behind that toothpick of a sword, and the environment damage is the best I have seen in a game where you hit foes into buildings and they tear through breaking everything in their path. Some of the best environment physics ever in a game!! Finally for now... Ninja Gaiden/ Ninja Gaiden Black: I' ve always wanted to move like a ninja ( anyone that says Tenchu is dead because Tenchu is poor), I' ve wanted to be fast powerful, and not give a damn. Ninja Gaiden is the only game that brought back that true arcade feel and I had so much fun playing it, I could' nt put the pad down for a day! That' s it for now but I' ll think of more!

UFO: Enemy Unknown (aka XCOM) Syndicate (selected..minigun..persuadatron..argh agents!) Jagged Alliance (Ivan..korosho korosho :P) Doom (onyumaah!) Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (Lucas Arts made good games?!) Sam & Max Hit the Road/ Day of the Tentacle (yes they did..) The Secret of Monkey Island (many of them in fact!) X-Wing/TIE Fighter (X-Wing was one hard game!) Cannon Fodder (Jools, Jops and Stoo!) Sensi Soccer (for being able to put curl on headers!) Flashback/Another World (24 frames of animation, whoa!) One Must Fall 2097 (ultra fast turbo mode that got faster on faster PCs!) Threat and Slick&Slide (mini shareware games noone will remember heh) Prince of Persia (yea the 2d one) Point Blank (by Namco) Bishi Bashi Special on the PS1 (some random Jap mp game, no idea who it was by!) *breeaathe* Track and Field (button mashing at its best!) Micro Machines V3 (8 player!) Pro Evo Soccer 3 (8 player tournies) Final Fantasy VII (the bike and snowboarding minigames woo) Tenchu: Stealth Assassins (Onikage - best voice acting ever!) Sonic the Hedgehog (Up, Down, Left, Right, A + Start!) Thunderforce 2,3,4 (the coolest music) Golden Axe (Lt. Bitter and Death Adder) Streets of Rage (yay for the music by Yuzo Koshiro) Street Fighter 2 (dragon punches broke my parents chandelier!) Super Probotector (2 player Starfox (twin bastards (blasters in a Japanese accent)!) Phew! Many more great titles, but these were my most fun (least serious) ones. It' s shocking to think that the last fun game I played was so long ago! It' s not just another nostalgia post I promise! (ok it slightly is :P)

I know what you mean the last real fun game I played was a long time ago and by that I mean something fresh and immersing. I just remembered some others: Secret of mana: 2d but then it was mainly about storyline anyway Mortal Kombat: The first one on the super nintendo after about the 4th it got a bit repetitive. Sega Extreme sports: I liked the merging of different events and flexibility. Shenmue: For some reason unlike most of my friends I kinda liked the gathering info bit and the story slowly onfolding and tieing up bit' s of info. I think that' s it for now.

I' m not going to flood you with 60 titles cause you wouldn' t bother to read them - for me it' s Perfect Dark N64 and Ferrari F355 Challenge (I did have amazing fun with other awesome titles but those two are way above " lot' s of fun" for me)

Incidentally the games I have had the most fun with while playing are also my favourites. I’ve tried to limit the list to only one game of each series, but as seen below I’ve had though time choosing the best of some. In any case, here you go! My top ten favourites! 1. Shenmue (endless! / ) 2. Zelda: Ocarina of Time (timeless) 3. Final Fnatsy VII/VIII (still can’t decide[:' (]) 4. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (I love the first, but the second is my mistress) 5. Ico (beautiful) 6. Super Mario 64/Super Mario World (another toughie) 7. Outcast (a sequel was in the works, but now… *sniff*) 8. Chrono Cross/Chrono Trigger (hmm… ) 9. <--- Look to the left ( ) 10. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (the only American game on the list?! ) Man it’s really frustrating to do these types of lists, ´cause I get all “Oh, and that game was great, and that, and that, and THAT!†Also, I hate leaving great games out of a list, but if I don’t it would be bottomless, but still… Garrrgh!!! Golden Eye, Digital Devil Saga, Conker’s Bad Fur Day, and more! All need to be celebrated… Maybe I can squeeze them in between 7 and 8. Also... brick-boss = banned... Edit: Man, all those poor smileys

I can' t be bothered to fit every single one of them in just one post, so I will post more some other time. Donkey Kong Country 2- In my opinion, this game is FLAWLESS when played on two-player mode! I played through almost the entire game on co-op with my dad. I was always Dixie Kong as I was better as her. In fact, if it weren' t for A Link To The Past and Mario Kart then I would' ve claimed this to be my favourite SNES game ever! Favourite bit- As I said earlier, the fantastic co-op mode. The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past- The reason for me loving this game so much is not just because of the epic, top-down experience. You see, back when I lived in America(which, by the way, is the current location of my SNES and N64 ), I used to play this game at my best friend' s house all the time. Next to some rather entertaining plane game, A Link To The Past must have been our most played game of his. Plus, the room that his SNES was in was pretty huge. When he moved to a different house in the town, I started to miss playing A Link To The Past in that room. Now he' s moved states . Still, good times they were... goood tiiimes... Favourite bit- Storming into the Hyrule Castle and rescuing the princess. Pokemon Stadium(2)- Now why the hell wasn' t Colosseum like this? It may have lacked an actual adventure, but with this game you had the option of using any pokemon you wanted, you could have a multiplayer brawl without the need of a Gameboy, and- more importantly- you could actually enjoy every second of it! Especially with friends! Then came along the limited ' mon fun ruiner! Favourite bit- Putting some of my favourite ' mon up against a friend' s. Next time... Super Smash Bros, Super Mario Kart, and many, many more super titles(not necessarily all by Nintendo )

This is going to be SUCH an incomplete list, but.. 1.Street Fighter 2 all the iterations, even the weird ass chipped games. Honestly I damn near flunked highschool because i kept cutting class to go to the arcade. 2.Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo BEST MULTIPLAYER PUZZLE GAME EVER. YOU HEAR ME?? F*ck Tetris. 3.Shining Force 2 SLADE the ninja, coolest rat ever 4.Earthworm Jim SE on Sega CD Groovy. Perfect platform action. second only to.... 5.Super Mario Bros. 3 Best Mario game. Period. (that includes 3d) 6.Halo Changed my mind about FPS. 7.Morrowind Changed my mind about what a computer (as opposed to pen-and-paper) RPG could/should be. Haven' t played Oblivion yet... 8.Nights into Dreams How did I get addicted to such a silly little game? 9.Shenmue 1 and 2. I consider them to be one (incomplete, grrrr SEGA) magnificent game. 10.Virtua Tennis And i hate real tennis. 11.Virtua Fighter 2 the one that got me hooked. I loved the sequels, don' t get me wrong, but this one was special. ok...done for now...might be posting later.

Castlevania- This is one of the first games we (my brother and I) had on our NES. Counless hours of taking turns getting our butts handed to us by the bosses. Mortal Kombat II- I think I put enough money into this arcade machine to feed a hungry nation for YEARS!! Kung Lao, baby! Phantasy Star- The first RPG that I truly fell in love with! My friend Johnny and I played this game ALL SUMMER VACATION! We only napped in shifts. Legend of Zelda- Addictive, addictive, addictive! How could you NOT like bombing EVERY DAMN SQUARE INCH OF THE ENTIRE GAME!! Loved every minute of it! Black Belt and The Ninja- I' m putting these together because I played both of them a helluva lot around the same time. Shining in the Darkness- My second RPG love! Many, MANY hours wasted away in dungeon crawling! Half-life- This game gripped me from the beginning to the end! Classic. There are plenty more, but I' m done for now.

Here' s just a few: Street Fighter Alpha 2 (Sat) King Of Fighters 98 (Neo Geo) Sonic 2, and S&K (MD) Donkey Kong Country 1 and 2 Virtua Fighter 3 (Arc and DC) Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (MD and Sat) Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES, ARC) Super Mario Bros 3 (SNES All Stars Ver) These are probably my most played games of all time. There was a point with SFA2 where I would spend 4-6 hours a day playing as just Akuma/Gouki mastering everything. Back then I loved being as good as many of the competitive arcade players. Sadly that culture is all but disappering in the west.
