On another note, those official release dates are the only dates that can be delayed. The false ones you are dealing out by magazines and gaming stores don' t count as delays. Unless my college teachers that are teaching me about game developemnt and actually work in the industry are wrong... in that case you should probably start teaching my video game courses.

KotoR was set to be a launch title at first. Then it was " guaranteed" for summer of 2002. Then it was " guaranteed" for the holidays of 2002. LucasArts had LOTS of guarantees, and not just for KotoR. They' re notorious.

NG got on the cover of OXM with a release date FROM TECMO......in the holiday season of 2002...and that release date wasn' t really close to January 2004. Tecmo, and their DoA: XBV delays are also notorious.

Brute Force had three " official release dates," with delays ranging from two months to eight months. The first release date was Q1 of 2002. The second was somewhere in November of 2002.

I' ll go on if you want. You can check on these with your godly professors, Rampage. The release dates came straight from the publishers in all cases.

That' s it, I' m putting a stop on all my loans and dropping out of video game school. Obviously people that work in the industry have no idea what happens in the industry. Imean really, how could they? All they do is make the games, deal with the publishers, spend nearly every waking moment either producing a game or teaching students about making a game.

Yeah, my mom was really wanting to know about how that microphone worked. I read on Penny-Arcade that they weren' t totally sold on it yet but the game was probably the best one since the first 2.

You know, all that about " serving our gamers the best way we know how, which is to be more conscientous of prospected release dates for our top titles?" You know, after the ninety-seventh Brute Force delay and four hundredth KotoR delay? You asleep for that week? Maybe you were.

Or maybe you missed that special holiday press release where Tecmo hyped NG through the roof, proclaiming it the " proposed best seller of Christmas 2003" ? Oh wait.........slipped to after the holidays due to last-second production issues. Guess you were taking a nap then, too.

See, your biggest problem? Publishers keep retailers and other people relatively up-to-date on their progress when it comes close to release time. You just decided not to read the updates. However, in one of your first posts... you make delays sound like a good thing for the PS2. But for the XBOX delays require it to be called the " delaybox" . A negative term. Really, give it up. All you' ve basically proved were those games were delayed, but you failed to prove some of these 2 year delays you' ve been yapping about. If you look back on page 1 I posted actual LINKS showing why your Ninja Gaiden 2 year delay was bullsh*t. I gave an actual QUOTE from Bungie showing they disputed the April release. I gave actual STORE COMPARISONS to show stores were making up release dates for Halo 2.
