It seems that fonts are made for HDTV only and on SDTV everything is unreadable.There are no plans for any patch at this time.

I can hardly read the text,even though im extremly close to my tv.
The text is almost impossible to read even if you put on 16:9 to your STV and get taller letters.

This is just one reason why im getting my HDTV now.
Shame what capcom has done though.

Minimal letters looks sweeter! I played condemned on my SD tv and it had smalll leters i couldnt read, but i have a hd tv now, and im happy!

5000 would get you among the best model HDTVs not just a " decent" one.

Not how I would have phrased it but Evil is right. Even a crappy 500 dollar HD TV is still much better then any SD tv if you get the right one. In the low end just make sure you don' t touch LCDs, they suck. In the sub 800$ range try to get a DLP or HD CRT. Even using a computer monitor is better then SD tv, preferably widescreen.

My point is the 360 is a waste if you don' t have it in HD, its not a little better, its much better. Especially if you play competitively, you have better periferal vision. Compared to HD, SD looks like tunnel vision while being blurry as well. If you haven' t used your 360 in HD you' re missing out.

A better picture? yeah. but thats it, and I can and will play my games on sdtv tv for many years to come until the time I have the money to buy one.
