Same here,i finished it for some days ago,was a 9/10 for me,cant understand how many reviewers trash it,gamespy gaved it 5/5 saying if you expect anything else then a perfect interactive film, you will be dissaapointed, and i agree. The story is 10/10. And its like a movie you want to follow.

Cetra! Most people who think they Xbox 360 is just as good as the PS3, even excels in some area' s like graphics, are we all mistaking?

yes, if something is better then its better also, the xbox hardware is pretty standard but very good hardware, however, the cell is a highly advanced piece of hardware with much more mini functions than the xbox has. developers say they have only scratched the surface of what ps3 can do, and by time, games will look far far better on ps3 when its prioritated right in the programming. already they look somewhat better, but this will take off, especially with the physics, the cell is a processor designed especially for physics, the xbox just has raw power, which is not grouped or designed for anything special, just power to take advantage of, and all power will be powering things together, not powering things individually as well as the cell does its like with xbox, " how big can i draw this" but with the ps3 is it more like " how well can i draw this"

Is xbox standard? Is multi thread processors with 3 core standard? Hello? Is havin the best GPU ATI could make for 360 standard for a console? And yes,its better then ps3. I think its funny how every dev talk about ps3 as much raw power, thats much harder to take advantage of. And you say xbox has just raw power.

multithreading between two processors is normal, 3 is just a build on that, however, multithreading between 7 cores withing one own processor is non standard the rsx is the best nvidia could make, and they are no less good than ati oh and besides, hideo kojima has credited the cell processor for being genious. he did it in the 2005 mgs 4 trailer

There is a diffrence,as majik said, and ATI ceo,and what dev has said. Sony basically said, what can we have- for that many 7800 gts 256mb,ofc in early days it was 6800 but nvm. While MS said, dev the best GPU you can,ATI people never got asked,we want that for that much, therefor they could dev a better GPU a stronbger one. Ofc dev has so far said its,Slightly better, while ATI claims its much better. Yes i use myself 2 processers, but GABE,said while having 3 core, its much much much harder to dev for console games, cause you have to transfer it into the console with cores speaking diffrent language. he said this. If dev a xbox/ps2 game is today a 1/10. Then 360 is 4/10 And ps3 will be 10/10. Thanks to cell. Carmack said it will be a pain in the ass to dev for cell. So basically you have Half life, and doom, quake and wolfenstein creators saying Cell is not easy to work or dev for.

nvidia said more than twice as powerful as 6800gt, i have 7800 gtx, even overclocked, and the rsx is still more powerful. the onlye more powerful cards are the new flagships from them both

yes RSX is a bit better then the 7800 gts 256mb While xeno' s can be compared to a X1800xt 512mb.

The Cell is a very advanced and powerful processor but it hasn' t been optimized for videogames and developers will have a hard time using it to it' s full potential. The 360 on the other hand is 100% custom made specifically for videgames which will make it easy for developers to create great games. Maybe the Cell will make the PS3 slightly more powerful in the distant future but the years to come the 360 will have the advantage. As for graphics the 360 is much better. The GPU in the PS3 is very powerful BUT it' s still a normal GPU with counterparts in the PC world, although it is much more powerful. The 360 has a next-gen GPU with no equal. This has been said by most tech-people and several developers. Oh and Microsoft of course but they don' t count.

when its better than 7800, then 1800 would be its counterpart PS3 : GPU: RSX @550MHz 1.8 TFLOPS floating point performance Full HD (up to 1080p) x 2 channels Multi-way programmable parallel floating point shader pipelines Sound: Dolby 5.1ch, DTS, LPCM, etc. (Cell-base processing) Memory: 256MB XDR Main RAM @3.2GHz 256MB GDDR3 VRAM @700MHz Xbox: Custom ATI Graphics Processor 500 MHz 10 MB embedded DRAM 48-way parallel floating-point dynamically-scheduled shader pipelines Unified shader architecture Memory 512 MB GDDR3 RAM 700 MHz DDR Unified memory architecture - As you can see, the ps3 has the same ammount of ram, but on the one brick, it runs at 3.2 ghz and therefor has faster memory than the 360 You can see the RSX runs at 50 mhz more.

Now you' re doing exactly the same thing Sony did at their 2005 E3 press conference. Showing numbers which means nothing. On paper the PS3 looks more powerful but it really doesn' t show anything. As I said, both the CPU and the GPU in the PS3 are very powerful but the overall structure of the PS3 doesn' t allow efficient use of the power in an easy way, especially not for videogames. It' s not only about the separate components, it' s how they work together, and that' s what the 360 is better than the PS3 at.

sure sure, 3.2 ghz ram isnt better than 700 mhz ram right :) no point in using numbers and mathematics since they obviously don' t work

XBox used a cpu with 733 mhz 64mb ram and geeforce 3 64mb 3d card. Try get a PC like that and play Half life2 or doom3 on it. Also the core' s running at 3.2ghz should not be compare to anything near a pc cpu. Or do you actually think ps3 is a 7x3.2 ghz? 22,4 ghz CPU?

no, and the entire purpose of cell is exactly this, to define the role of cores withing a cpu, rather than just putting more cpus in so you have enough power to care less

cetra, I' m a computer science major, I' ve built shitloads of computers, have studied computer architecture and hardware, and countless other things. It is easy to tell you have no idea what you are talking about. Xbox 360 is superior to PS3. If you really want to find out why search through previous topics in this forum.

as far as i know about the trend in this forum and with all sony haters, most people didn' t dare to say that 360 is superior than ps3 (hardware), as far as i know some people here say that it' ll take them time to push ps3 to the limit since it is harder to program for...but overall power ps3 is better but you' re saying something different i suppose... well wait and see so me first gen ps3 look much better than first gen x360, but i remember very well those pictures from Project gotham racing 3, and so far nobody of you 360owners would comment on this: do you remember those two building that Blizzard have showed off and said it was ingame, now that some of you played the game, is it true that could see buildings of these quality?? please answer

Rather than blindly debate about which is better between the PS3 and Xbox 360 how about we all just wait till E3!!!

Yes, the buildings are exactly like that in game. They actually showed wireframe screen shots of those buildings in the game as well since people wouldn' t believe it was in game graphics. btw its Bizarre not Blizzard
