ORIGINAL: Silentbomber

hi caps?

Nevermind. I got ahead of myself when he said the guns could hold more ammo. presumed he meant hi-capacity magazines. I paused and counted the bullets and they' re fine. Nothing to worry about...

You freaked me out when you said hi-caps dude. I started to imagine a pistol with a mag that dropped to the floor. Ooogley oogley stuff. The gameplay is ace though!

Although for those who don' t get the hi-cap thing,

A conventional hi-capacity magazine for one of the greatest pistols of all time!!!

A f***ing C-mag for the greatest pistol of all time!!!

OMG OMG check RIGHT NOW the new video in gametrailers, it' s an interview, it looks fucking incredible, this game is the best looking game ever next to crysis (it' s very hard to compare the two)

so glad i bought the 360.

MULTIPLAYER BETA FOOTAGE!!!

Featuring their new gameplay mechanic called " last-stand" . After you' ve been shot non-fatally, you pull out your secondary & shoot from the ground.

It looks dare I say it... boss!

The environment is all ingame supposedly, all of this via Call of Duty Planet, however the character on screen was most likely dropped there for effect.

I dunno, all of the major news sites are ranting & raving about the character detail, so maybe I' m just full of it. We' ll find out come November eh?

The last-stand feature looks strange it could be good but it could also be very annoying it will depend on how it plays which the footage doesn' t tell us.

The footage is ingame, gameplay, and running on 360 hardware.

You shouldn' t be surprised as to how good it looks though because the one thing CoD3 was is a good looking game.

The last-stand footage is actually higher quality than the single player footage from last week. It must be something to do with Gametrailers re-encoding the file.

The multiplayer looks nowhere near as epic as campaign though (which is to be expected) so the bog rescue video still gets my vote. Did anybody notice the map the MP video was on? Missile silos anybody?!

Holes in the wall are not seethrough, meaning positions will have to be memorized instead of tested by a simple shot. This half-innovation is not important.

I wanna see the ps3 footage. But yeah the 360 version look s great.

I want to buy another 360 but I don' t want it to die on me.

Hell I am happy with the ps3 but if they keep giving the ps3 the shaft then I might have to pick up a wii. I hear the wii' s are pretty sturdy. I get a 360 3 years from now or when halo 3 comes out.

The PS3 is sturdier. Stick with that. The port is bound to be okay, it' s pretty hard to mess up a good multiplayer formula.

Tactically speaking, you don' t shoot a hole in the wall & peek through to check for an enemy. It' s not employed officially anymore, but dumping rounds through a wall during World War II was an effective method of startling your enemy before you cleared the room. It was never meant to be the end-all be-all maneuver for everyday operations.

As for your half-innovation bunk, short of one weapon in Resistance: Fall of Man (), what other game lets you shoot through walls?

Light should be coming through the holes, and blockage of that light should be presented whenever a player is moving and his shadow casts an image through the holes. Without it, it' s a guessing game, which is why I called it a half innovation that was useless.

In the original counter-strike you can shoot through walls.
