You can just download to a PC via XSATA then upload from XSATA to your PC. Easy peasy.

That said, it was a fanboy post for sure, but we' ve all come to expect that, so................

I do wonder though, what people would have done if Sony or Nintendo would do if they were in the same shoes as MS and did this. Something tells me there would be a much larger uproar in the community about it.

He is right about the HD being a ripoff though. $180 for a 120gb HD? Yes I know its a laptop drive, and they cost more than an equivalent desktop drive, but still. If I were to spend $180 USD ($208CDN) up here tommorow, I could go buy myself a top of the line " Seagate 160GB Momentus 5400.3 ATA 2.5in HDD w/ 8MB Cache" at my local store, slap it in my PS3 and have $30 left over. Or buy the equivalent 120GB HD and have $100 left over, enough for another 100GB HD, or spend $15 more and get myself two 120gb HD' s.

All in all, I' m at least glad they are updating it, and I will buy one as soon as they release the 65nm chips in the Elite. I might even buy one sooner if I can' t resist Mass Effect and Bioshock. I have a feeling I will be severely tempted to pick one up the week Mass Effect releases.

Are there any advantages with 65nm chips over the 90nm? I recon it runs cooler and less noisy.. but any performance gain or other good stuff?
