Wait, wait, wait... how are you hooking people up with MS points? Share the wealth dude. I work at Gamestation and i get them really cheap, straight from the delivery guy. I will gladly sort you out dude but like Dion you will have to wait for me to return from Greece. I have 2 weeks of sun soaked sandy beaches and rum ahead of me and i plan to enjoy every minute of it!

Going into the sporting goods store you can grab a golf club or take a skateboard (which you can ride around on!). It' s also worth noting that there' s a female zombie pushing a shopping cart around that you can push through the hordes if you hold ' X' . Everything else from clothes hangers, plant pots, chairs, benches etc can all be used as weapons. The golf club is especially cool as holding down the attack button charges up your attack and allows you to fire golf balls at zombies heads! ......and.... if you press " A" whilst pushing the trolley, you' ll hurl it a good 20 metres in front of you! Like i said i' m away for a fortnight as of tomorrow morning so make sure you download all the demo' s you have room for and i' ll see what owned games we have in common and we' ll get together for some online when i get back. If you have or get GRAW then you can join our awesome team and watch Tiz' s back for me so i can concentrate on other things... As much as I would like to deny it, Majik is right, I need to be babysat... Of course I am the Laziest memebr on the squad, I choose only to be dangerous when backed into a corner.... That being said, if damn Majik and Quez weren' t so potent, I' d do more work! Do you know how thrilling it is to just watch over the weapons and drink Malibu whilst tossing a few smoke grenades over your shoulder? That' s what I do..

The controls are wierd, graphics are " meh" but still leagues above trash like N3, and theres alot of zombies and shit going on screen so I suppose I can let it slide. 8/10 IMO

I still don' t get why everyone thinks the controls are wierd. The aiming is just like RE4.

For me, the aiming took a bit of getting used to (The only Resi Evil game I have played is Code Veronica). Otherwise, after a while, they were fine, and to not get used to the controls, is a process we call " braindead" . The only instance in where controls are weird is if you play invertedly or in the default manner. That being said, Dead Rising plays very slick, with NO slowdown whatsoever! Definitely worth a purchase.

I managed to kill 347 before dying. The katana is cool as hell man, it cuts them in half DIAGONALLY!!! I need to try using the cooking fat and shooting it to burn them alive (dead) now. The controls are perfect, there was no learning curve for me, it was instant pick up and play. The precision aiming specifically works exactly like RE4 on Gamecube and the running, jumping, camera etc were all spot on. I love how you can run up behind a zombie and jump onto their backs and then jump/run along the heads/shoulders of others until you either hit a clear patch or stop pressing ' A' . I also love the jumping kick. I kicked a fat mofo down the stairs and into another group sending them all flying. I can' t wait to get hold of the chainsaw or garden shears or even the lawn mower. Ha, there' s even a lightsabre in the retail version.

ORIGINAL: dasher232 Yea the katan is the best at doing the job....but I preferr the scythe for some reason. Well the katana straight out kills them and cutting them diagonally in haly with blood spurting everywhere is more satisfying than whipping their legs off with the scythe. Saying that, taking their heads of with the scythe is awesome. Anybody who likes Capcom' s games will adore this!

Maybe you can feel it with somthing...hell witht eh water alone it barly knocked them over...maybe it' ll be of some use elsewhere. But thats the great thing about Dead Rising is that it takes its word on making just about everything usuable seriously.

The zombies in the demo do seem pretty week, I stabbed one with the scythe and ripped his head off, and like 3 standing behind him fell over and died from the impact of him flying back.
