We had this girl on our GRAW team kicking arse, and her and Quez had a
nationality power struggle.. In the end, we played pistols and last man standing,
and I think Quez was the first to die, then he got really pissed.

She then talked to her friend ' Hayley' about going online for some Halo 2...

And Quez was like " Go play your wimpy Halo 2, I kick your ass!"

Bloody, bloody funny. There' s more but that was the summary..

So we played some Cs SOURCE today,so what dioes he do?

He run around and shoot people and me until we have health to 20 hp or 10.
Now this can sometimes be fun,but if it goes on for an hour its not.

That' s where " every man for himself" comes in!

Things I like about Sony (console related):

1. As Terry stated, they always push technology. Yes, it ends up costing the consumer more moolah, but I think it' s necessary in the console race for someone to do it.

2. The PS2 redesign was GENIUS! It' s probably the main reason I even have a PS2.

3. The PSP looks cool. No, I don' t have one, but still...

4. Guitar Hero! (yes, I know it' s third party, and yes, I know the sequel may be coming to the 360. The one on the PS2 is awesome, though!)

You mean Blue-ray? I Don' t remember PS2 bringing any new technology though

MS blew it totally - they should' ve made a smaller, nicer Xbox just like sony - PStwo is great - and it' s cool to know that PS3 will be like that one day.

Well they did, they made the Xbox 360, which to boot is better than the old box. Id rather have them releasing new equipment than releasing the same old stuff in new casings!

It was virtually impossible to get the component prices down in both size and cost.

Sony had the " advantage" of not having an actual graphics card and developed & built the majority of the hardware themselves. through the various hardware revisions Sony managed to move pretty much all of the internal hardware onto just one board. They also initially had PSone hardware built into the unit and eventually removed it and emulated PSone games.

Microsoft on the other hand used externally developed hardware including GeForce 3 cards which were bought straight from NVIDIA. It would have been down to NVIDIA to minimise the technology but that wouldn' t have benefitted them, especially with the PC market jumping every six months.

The other problem was the HDD and it' s only recently that hard-drive sizes have started to go down. Microsoft could have opted for another storage medium but that would have meant different ways of doing things for developers and wouldn' t have been convenient.

Every man and his dog wishes that were the case, but a new design meant no
hard-drive, so it was a step M$ could not take.

You will more likely see a smaller 360 than PS3 because this time around the
hard-drive is not built-in, and M$ WILL be cutting the cost of production on
the 360 next year. Where as PS3 has so many bells and whistles (I would love
to see the inside of a PS3!!), Sony has to REALLY be more efficient this time
around in order to make a smaller PS3..

Well, there wasn' t any way to work giant crabs and next-gen real-time weapon changes into that sentence cohesively, so I figured, why not?

In some ways yeah, but if you' re talking about them copying others, you can only go so far. Their tilt fuctionality had been patented since 1999. I can' t argue with that though, the headmen are " loser-type" liars.
