Just means theres more Wiis to go around, great news for Euro and Australasian gamers who usually get the short end of the stick (no innuendo intended honest). Also means a true Worldwide release can and probably will happen, and that i' ll have a Wii to enjoy the Christmas break - ohh happy days!!!

Well if Nintendo decided to release 1 million Wii' s in North America, I guess they really want to see how many console is gonna be sold by launch day, before they want to ship 2+ millions more unit. I' m guessing that Wii is gonna do a better job then the Gamecube did.

With the reported massive PS3 shortage, Nintendo may just have a wonderful launch yet

It' s looking that way Terry. It' s just a matter of them getting information out. They had a great year at E3, but they were nonexistent at TGS, so hopefully, they can build some hype up again with kiosks or something of that type. I' m guessing that Wii is gonna do a better job then the Gamecube did.
If only because it' s not in Fisher-Price Purple. That was a really dumb move on Nintendo' s part.

No, it didn' t do much for it' s image as a system did it. But do y' think it' s gonna be different this time though? I mean, I know most gamers have a DVD player now, or a console that plays DVD' s, but think about some of the new adopter' s they' re trying to bring in, most of them won' t be, or haven' t been technologically enclined, therefore, some won' t have DVD players. Maybe I' m looking into it a bit too much, but for the sake of debate...
