So wii is going up against ps3 at the same time,perhaps Nintendos chance to make a revange.

Can anyone here upload the two diffrent launch titles and some in-game pic so we can compare?

I know wii is about the controller,but i just saw zelda at gamertrailers.com,and it really looks like a xbox 360 game without HD.

I couldn' t figure out why Nintendo would launch 2 days after ps3 in NA until I thought of Allocation amounts. If the big N is hoping to have 6 million out by december (I think that' s the right number) then I' m assuming they' ll have 2 million at least by november 17th. So now we have 400,000 PS3' s in NA on launch. They sell out in 2 days. People are still in stores looking for the new game system for there kids, but lo and behold it' s sold out. Surely they can' t go home empty handed, what' s this wii thing? Looks interesting, and there' s a ton of them on the shelves. That' s the only reason I can think of for the laucnh date, to pick up on empty handed PS3 shoppers.

I think it really just depends.

if sony cant get many consoles out and if they dont sell due to the higher price i think it will go to wii.

I really think its brave to wait and go against Sony,MS wouldn' t dare to do that.

depends on location - some of them have low res ground textures.It looks nice though - but these are GCN visuals, the only visual improvement of Wii version is the 480p 16:9 mode.

Just Watched (a Extremely-FUN looking Trailer of Wii’s ‘Excite Truck. And read comments on how the thudding Vibrations as you land and mud-splashing sounds from the ‘weighty’ Wiimote Adds soo to the gameplay.

It made me realise about Sony’s effort ‘Motor Storm’ and Developers comments on how they want to ‘immerse’ you into the action via its realistic physics and ‘Mud’ ect.

Then it came to me.. What’s the point of the realistic physics on Motorstorm when the (ultra light) and non-feedback Pad isn’t going to add anything to this ‘supposed’ immersion.. No mater how realistic the graphics and physic will be, its always going to play like controlling a car made out of Paper.

Wii ALL the WAY!!!!!!!!!!!


OH BTW, the Wii’s going to kill EVERYTHING in terms of SALES.

Excite truck is my second mos wanted Wii game - it seems like it won' t be on launch i Europe ...sux

Nintendo really like taking the competition head on.

Same in Europe.

I bought a xbox,but couldn' t leave the Nintendo fan in me,so 3 weeks later i lend money for a GC.

Something that looks better doesnt necesarily have to only apply to visuals! But to gameplay elements as well! Which Zelda seems to excel at!
