No excuse for those who want a PS3 as a cheap Blu-Ray player. Not saying this is good news exactly, seeing as DVD really pushed PS2 sales. But at 2 months after launch, & something like a $200 pricedrop, things have looked better.

Chuck Norris, wins. But, the way I see it. The PS3 is a great " center" of the entertainment center in any house... assumin you have a 1080 screen to boot. But still.

Well, in Canada it was never that way. Ps3 60gb versions were $650, and the 20gb were $600. Many blu-ray players were available for $550 to $600. So, it was always more expensive here.
Still though, as Ginjirou said, its still an amazing deal if you are planning on getting a blu-ray player anyway. Then you are only paying about $50-$100 for the gaming side of a ps3.

Blue is looking good to ' win' over hd-dvd. In the end maybe everybody will be getting a a blue ray player, but by then, I suppose they can be picked up cheaper on some budget model with no stereo sound, and hooked up through some magic mexian airwaves.

Chuck Norris is like Big George Foreman during his early 90' s comeback. The fighting spirit is there but he hasn' t aged well. Batman however has gotten better with age and i' m betting he' d whip Norris silly...
