Check out these awsome clips and trailer. The style is amazing somthing like 2-D techniques in a 3-D style. I suggest looking at the fight clip.

i seen it. it is really, really, really good. it is like CG anime cel shaded. the action is the best i have seen. it came out here in the states and watching it on the big screen makes it that much more amazing. the part when she fights the " Walking Tanks" is really intense. this is another hit and gift for anime fans. do not miss it. you WILL regeret it.

I bought it. It is really good. The graphics are stunning, and it has some really well done action sequences. I' d recommend that you buy it, as long as you can tolerate the propensity for Japanese animation to explore complex sociological issues with cheesy dialog and stereotypical character archetypes.

If you do buy it, make sure you get the limited edition with the tin case. It' s really nice.

Perfect Blue is just weird to me (yes, I bought it). It' s supposed to be a psychological thriller, but in typical Japanes fashion it' s just confusing (probably cause I' m not Japanese). The animation is top notch, but the characters are not very likeable, and the whole movie could' ve been live action. I, for one, think that anime should show something that would be very hard to show in real life. This movie didn' t.

To answer your question, no, I did not think it was good.

it' s nice to watch once or twice but it' s not deep like Ghost in the shell 1 or 2 , Princess Mononoke is way much better and so is Steamboy , Ninja Scroll and Gungrave (that is simply awesome).

It' s not a great movie but it' s a great CG showcase that everyone should enjoy.
