It' s like Ninja Gaiden except you play as Rachel. It' ll be like Black with tons of mission modes. It isn' t NG2.

What? Rachel sucked in NG. She was awfully dressed and look like a trans, and had a crap weapon. Hmmm... Well he better not also deliver it to us,i want the real Ng2 with ryu ffs.

It' s just like Ninja Gaiden Black but you play as Rachel. It' s probably even the same timeline. Ninja Gaiden 2 will definately be on 360 and we' ll definitaley be playing as Ryu. That' s not to say NG2 won' t be on PS3 too though.

Seems strange, since Team Ninja just said to IGN all the games would be on 360 first!

that' s why it' s only a remake I guess.NG 2 would land on 360 first and then PS3.

No it doesn' t make any sense. He did a remake of NG to xbox via hurricane package then another one with NGblack, and now you guys want a third remake? I' m pretty sick of NG,i want NG2 ffs.

He' s doing it for Sony' s audience this time - the last NG was on Xbox and it had 1/5 userbase of PS2 so chances are many people didn' t play it.

It would be milking to deliver this remake on a 360. I fully understand Itagaki.

It makes perfect sense for Team Ninja. Sigma is just a pretty re-worked version of Ninja Gaiden Black with a different playable character. Like i said, it' s not Ninja Gaiden 2, and Ninja Gaiden 2 will come to 360. But, that' s not to say that it won' t also come to PS3 further down the line. Team Ninja expanding the franchise through another character on PS3 is something i salute. Plus, it' ll show Sony' s fanbase how much cooler NG is than DMC...

...thanks ]GaNgStA[ for some totally awesome news... ...although i' m hearing that in Sigma, Rachel is simply an additional playable character... ...you can still play as Ryu if you want... A “complete edition†of Ninja Gaiden… Rachel should be playable, the system of combat will be improved, graphics will be also improved, new weapons will be available, it will be possible to use two katana at the same time, etc ...i can' t wait!!!.... ....

And to close this thread nicely here' s the official stuff from IGN: September 20, 2006 - Remember all those rumours of a Ninja Gaiden sequel coming to the PlayStation 3? They' ve at last been proven correct... partially. The Ninja Gaiden series will be coming to the PS3 in the form of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals. Developed by Team Ninja, Sigma isn' t a sequel, but a " complete version" of the Xbox Team Ninja title. Team Ninja is improving upon the Xbox version in all areas. The visuals, including characters, stages and effects, are being upgraded. Event scenes are being redone, and new scenes are being added. All cinema scenes in the PS3 version will be real time, Famitsu specifies. On the gameplay side of things, players can look forward to new moves, actions and weapons for Hayabusa. Racheal, one of the series' heroines, will be playable, and when using her, you' ll get to experience the storyline from her perspective. Development on Ninja Gaiden Sigma is currently at just 25%. A Japanese release date has yet to be announced. I used PS2 controller when I played NG on Xbox cause it was much better for this game IMO

AWESOME! I actually posted this months ago and then when it was announced earlier today and it only specified Rachel i figured i' d been wrong. I' m going to look for my thread and see exactly what i posted. I read somewhere that you can use 2 swords simultaneously, that' ll be amazing!
