While it was a good read, I question the idea of boycotting the shareholder meeting and fans buying stock. Mainly because A) We' re dealing with two Japanese companies so I don' t see a simple protest being too effective in America.

And B) I highly doubt a group of hardcore Sega fans are going to outbid Sammy in stock. Just ain' t going to happen without support of a major company like Microsoft or Nintendo.

But C) It is better to try something than to try nothing at all.

I really would like to see MS buy Sega. Sure, Sega would go XBox only, but imagine the possibilities. Plus, Sega could remain Xbox and maybe GBA. And besides, who can outbid M$?

Sega has at least a year or two of quality games still to come, including the likes of VF5. (still no Shenmue III in development though). However after a year or two the Sammy effect will probably start to take effect, unless Sega starts outsourcing its brands to other developers to take care of... developers many Sega staff will have moved to hopefully... and then Sammy might have less to moan about when they' re eventually calling the shots.
