hey everyone i was reading the gamespot article about the xbox 360 bundle because they added an update and i found this.

On Thursday, GameStop.com updated its Xbox pre-order page with the new Omega bundle, $1999.69 worth of Xbox 360 games and accessories when money really and truly is no object. For that significant chunk of change, customers get everything in the Ultimate bundle (or should that be the Penultimate bundle?), plus two extra wireless controllers, a wireless network adapter, a memory unit, a replacement " Fuego" faceplate for the system, and more games in the form of Amped 3, Ghost Recon: Advance War Fighter, NBA 2K6, NHL 2K6, Ridge Racer 6, Top Spin 2, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Tiger Woods 06, and Frame City Killer.

Furthermore, when breaking down the cost of the Omega bundle, one finds that once again the customer winds up paying $27.99 for the 1-year warranty, with no apparent incentive for ordering the high-end bundle.

Isn' t that a bit much for only one year warranty plus isn' t a warranty already included from MS for free for maybe longer then one year?

it doesn' t say hard drive because it comes with the $400 bundle which has the HDD so they automatically assume you know everything in the $400 normal bundle they just mention the bundle they add to it.

But it comes with 20 games. SO apparently Omega is better then ultimate who knew huh?

Their core bundle is a big rip off $700 and no hard drive. Plus their expensive $30 one year warrantee.

I thought it was common sense that Xbox360 gonna lose vs ps3 in japan.
Ofc they will buy the console from their own home country,seeing how sony deliver games that fit them more.
But remember usa is a bigger market then japan,so if xbox360 manage extremly well in USA,ps3 could have a hard time,but the question is also,will the 27 millions ps2 european owners leave sony after psx+ps2 for something new like xbox360?
They did it with nintendo,so yes there is a possibility.
But i dont see that happend yet,Ms need to change the price.

Man, what are execs thinking these days. Forget my big rant in the other bundle thread about the greed involved here, and just focus for a moment on the uselessness of this package. When I buy a new game I like to play it. Now if I were to buy TWENTY new games at once how in the hell would I have time to play them all. Especially if, god forbid, I actaully really liked a couple of them!! No, half those games are going to collect dust, and the person who buys them won' t have a chance to play them until they are old, have dropped in price and could' ve been bought seperately cheaper. This is idiocy, and the fact that it still saves you NO money is the biggest piss in the eye ever.

My guess is only 2 of thos bundles sell. It' ll be some rich kids' Christmas presant.

I agree Rampage, and 10 of those 20 games in that rich kids stocking never leave the cellophane is my bet.

For $2000 those bundles better include more than what' s listed. They better also include stock certificates
