Hey Man.. Thanks for the invite!

But.. I gotta question... What' s going to happen to GamerWeb? Is it still going to function, or are you kinda changing it to this new place?

-eyerule

BTW: Is the avatar section up and running yet? Cause... When I try to add an avatar, it pops up a window... with nothing in it..

This forum is definately up to date. Yes im kinda wondering about Gamerweb myself. What did someone offer to buy the site and/or name Adam?

What does " kikzo" mean?

Thanks for the invite too.

Hi guys - good to see you here (you' re the first!)

Glad your first impressions of these forums are good - and glad you agree they' re pretty sharp too. I' m going to figure out how to do my avatar in a sec (and create a new one especially) - then maybe upload some standard avatars for new users to choose from.

GW was actually sold over a year ago, to a technology company in the UK. I worked for them for a year but instead of GW, they had me concentrate on TV stuff.

Some of the old GW team are staying there, and some decided to come with me.

But I' ve created Kikizo with the aim of making it the best place of its kind - in terms of both the main site and the discussion forums. It only launched on Friday and already the response has been phenomenal, in terms of visitors over at the main site. Now we just need to get people feeling comfy here in the forums - it' s a new environment, but a pretty cool one nonetheless.

Right, off to work out how to sort avatars out!

Take care and happy posting!

Thanks for the invite, I feel like a VIP. Cool forum, I hope everyone comes over and checks it out. I miss a lot of the old members who left gamerweb. It would be great to get everyone back together without all the banning nonsense.

Hi, thanks for the invite Adam. I was kinda wondering what was going on with Gamerweb and this explains a lot of it. Nice layout of the site, but the speed seems a little slow. Hopefully this is a fixable problem and this site will be able to thrive. Oh and on the avatar situation...I think it' d be nice if we could upload our own avatar and store it on kizaka (kinda like teamxbox.com). Well, I' m gonna go check out some more of it.

Sorry to have taken so long. Some people have to work on Sundays, I' m sad to say. I thank you for the invite. I never thought I was considered a popular forum member. Respected is a different story (One person stepped up....to get beat down of course ). Hope to see some of the originals of Sega/GamerWeb.

Hi everyone!!
Thanks for the invite Adam. Its kinda weird going to a new forum and already having a username and password though. Brings a tear to a glasss eye
Love the forums here. Were sharp and up-to-date. I hope everything goes well with the new site since GW had gone a bit downhill. I have been reading Segaweb from VERY early days and I used to love how it took more of a European approach to all things Sega and gaming. It ended up covering all the American stuff and NOTHING European. Any chance of a section on this new site with UK release dates and coverage? Oh, gotta go to Uni just now, but its nice to see a lot of familiar faces here. I will definitely be staying :)

I only have one problem.

Why in the world does it have to pop up everytime I reply? My pop up killer is getting trigger happy, and I keep forgetting to hold down Ctrl each time. Anyway to change this?

Hi again everyone

Re: the replying pop up window - as far as I know, it' s the only way you can reply, same as logging in and everything else that involves you actually doing anything.

Could have sworn I invited Poop, I have now anyways.

Glad everyone' s enjoying this place and getting those avatars up..!

Adam

Go to Kikizo Games, click on release dates... you' ll find the most up to date lists for all consoles, UK *and* US! (Same for movies and DVDs). The European news coverage etc will also be thriving.
