Great idea, I' d love to fill up what is left of my 14Gb of hard drive with a game. Maybe it will work with a bigger drive.

1680x1050 will be nice. But what would be really nice is the option to have black bars to maintain a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of that nasty stretch.

Yeah... although less than ideal, you can adjust most monitors to squish the image back into a 16:9 aspect ratio though, assuming it' s actually outputting at that aspect ratio (i.e., it' s not cropping off the sides of images).

The only time I don' t use my TV is for ikaruga since it can go vertical, and rarely while LANing if we dont' have enough HDTVs. Ikaruga actually supports 16:10 so I wouldn' t even want black bars for that. It is nice some games do the black bars automatically, but it really should be a standard option.

I agree dude. They should really have all resolutions as an option. Especially 1680x1050 considering how prevalent it is.
