Team ICO advertising for jobs.

They are looking for programmers and artists for PS3 developement. - Now sure, this was likely considered inevitable. I was however, afraid that they would go and do something on the PSP and was just hoping it would be ps3 instead.

This most amazing creative team did wonders for PS2 , even early on.. I wonder what joy they will bring to ps3 owners, and when will will get a tease from them regarding it.

They have the chance to do something great, I hope they live up to expectations.

Anyone know if they did anything before ICO?

Heck, these guys could just make a new Shadow of the Colossus with ps3 graphics and physics, make it bigger, with Colossi that are twice to three times the size and I would go crazy. SotC might not have been the longest game, but it is in a class of its own, and I would hope someone tries to make a game as unique as it.

ICO was originally planned for Playstation and not PS2. It looked amazing, ...easily the best looking game on the system. Then they moved it to PS2 and even though it was still a great game it didn' t receive the same kind of attention it would have done on Playstation.

I liked watching it be played, but if you don' t like escort missions, don' t get it. I suppose I was a bit spoiled though, as I did play SotC before ICO.

I dunno about that Eddie, I can' t see as how SotC would put anyone off ico in any way. I thik ICO is still one my my favourite ps2 games and have played it more than SotC. The visuals are great, art direction is lovely. game is well designed. The escorting is fantastic.

Its certainly a relaxing game too for a while, and the music is to die for.

As for the video of PS1 version. Im sure a decent portion of that video had footage from ico as we know and love it.but what was there was ok im glad however they went with the ps2 and the changes they made.

You should go and buy a copy ASAP. Its even made it to Platinum or whatever so you can get it for much less than any other game anyway.

Ico is a stunner of a game. A truly immersive game, with superbly animated characters and a castle that I enjoyed traversing so very much, that I wish it existed in reality and was up for sale, I would buy it in a heartbeat, you see solely to admire the grand architecture...oh and swinging on chains and stuff, could be a pretty good pastime too.

Shadow of the Colossus is also great, but less so then the astounding Ico. Each of the sixteen boss fights are truly epic encounters. It' s just a shame that they can be so damn hard to find. It would have been nice if the game had far more exploration and other activities to do other than just taking down the gargantuan colossuses too.

I look forward, with gusto to see what goods team Ico come up with for their next game and any of their future marvels.

I agree also the game is preferrable to SotC. Maybe not so epic but one experience i enjoy more... I think the ps3 game stand to be amazing, but they have a lot to live up to..
