GRAW! Played, playing, will be playing so quite some time. So damn smooth. Its true tho that the MP takes a slight hit in graphics. But who cares it aint that noticable and its still damn fun.

Started playing Daxter this morning for the PSP, so far I' ve enjoyed it a great deal. It' s NOT as annoying/boring as the original Jak n' Daxter was to me. And for once the music is actually decent!

Worldwide Soccer/Victory Goal on the Saturn. This game sucks. I don' t know what I used to see in it. It is hard to control and even harder to score. The control sucks. I think I hate soccer (futball to you non-Americans) altogether. It is a stupid sport. There are way too many Spanish chants in the game for my taste and they play during the Jun Shenoeu music or whatever his name is. Stupid game.

Astal on the Saturn. Another game that really isn' t very good. Great graphics and music, but you have to control a stupid bird which ruins the gameplay. The bird always makes a weird sound that repeats over and over and over and over and over which ruins the sound aspect of the game. Enemies can make some weird repetitive sounds long after they' re off screen as well. This game could have been so good! Oh yeah the voice acting is really bad and the FMV worse than the Sega CD.

Today was a pretty good gaming day. A detailed listing of what I played would be:

1. Mega man Maverick Hunter X (finished the game finally, went back in to try and collect some of the hard to get parts)

2. Daxter (already finished the game with 80% of the stuff collected, was trying to collect more stuff to bump up the percentage.)

3. Capcom Classics Collection Remixed (played all 20 games included in the collection, finished a few of them)

4. Sonic Riders (worked on completing the story mode)

5. Metal Gear Solid Subsistence (got a taste of the online mode to see what it was like.)

6. Fight Night Round 3 (PSP): (Fought a few matches, defended my belts and then retired my aging fighter while still champ!)

7. Metal Gear Ac!d 2 (played it for the first time)

8. Pursuit Force (played it for the first time)

9. Kao Challengers (played it for the first time)

If I have any time left tonight I' d like to check out Mega man Powered Up..

I haven' t actually played much of anything for quite a while now... I bought Guitar Hero Monday (finally), and I spent the better part of the day rocking out with that. Other than though, I haven' t bought anything to play.

But then again, I still have a substantial amount of older titles to complete that I haven' t gotten around to either. Looks like the slacking that infects virtually every other aspect of my life, has now become an intergal part of my game playing. I wonder if I can get a shot for that.

I just beat BLACK,

+ outstanding graphics for a PS2 game.
+ action and a lot of action
+ Great game design
+ good explosions
+ very good sound effect

- very short game (only 8 missions)
- no saving during a level
- destructible enviroment?? that was a lot of hype.
- the control is not that precise, no aim help which is important in a console game.
- some enemies, although they look normal with an only armor on, need 30 bullets to take down. the shotgun guy is the most annoying, as you keep firing to him while he is standing, come on he' s not robocop !!
- very frustrating to restart a level from the begining sometimes as check points are usualy very distant.

if i give call of duty 2 95%
then Black 88%

Nothing since finishing Onimusha 4, but updated impressions

Not as good as Onimusha 3.
Doesn' t really play like the rest of the series, or feel as dramatic.
The ending level and boss fight is too long, too easy, and largely disappointing.

I was enjoying it until i finished it, and i haven' t touched it since, Now just waiting for Kingdom Hearts 2. Kick complete ass!!

Metal Gear Solid: Subsistence online.

Best damn online mode I' ve played in a while. Possibly ever. Yes, including Halo. Maybe it' s my inner fanboy saying this, but sneaking up and snapping an unsuspecting guard' s neck is so much more rewarding when there' s another person who' s probably swearing at you accross the connection.

I' ve actually been playing Street Fighter Alpha on the Sega Saturn lately. At first I played SFA Max on the PSP extensively for a while but got irritated with the d-pad so I wanted to try how it felt with the good old Saturn pad. And I' ve realized that the Saturn d-pad makes SFA the best Street Fighter game ever made. If some of you guys haven' t played a Street Fighter game with the Saturn pad (or arcade stick) I really recommend you to do it.
It' s like playing a different game. And you fight much better to.

You should definitely play Alpha 3 on the Saturn. The only arcade perfect version available on home systems (has bigger sprites than PSX and DC versions).

I agree, nothing beats the Jap Saturn pad for 2D fighters... Especially Capcom ones.

Anyway, been playing OutRun 2006 mostly as well as a spot of Guitar Hero.

My time was between tomb raider legends, which I finished - the game was amazingly too short, pretty linear and straight forward, too easy. But I still liked it.
Outrun 2006:c2c ps2 version, which I got pretty into and it kept me busy while I was trying to get into...
Kingdom Hearts 2. I found the begining quite slow, and initially didn' t think it played as well as the original. The reviews say its more button mashing, but later when you get really nice looking combos I forget that the system isn' t as it was in the original - Besides i love to hack and slash. Nice game which I' m currently about 22 hours into, I found the first 5-10 the slow boring time. Now I' m tryin to rush through to experience all the story.

Played the home version of Magician Lord today. Made it up to the inside of level 7, the Gal Agassi stage or Andre Agassi stage or whatever the main bad guy' s name is.

Of the games I mentioned, Okami should be the one you pay most attention to!!!! One of the most refreshingly original games for the PS2 at last year' s E3. This game is just SCREAMING for a DS release!

I' m not really playing anything much now just waiting for some more ms releases. I was thinking of tomb raider but thought that I might leave the game feeling unfulfilled if it' s too short (might still get it anyway).

well alot of it you can just guess at with some common sense - same goes for the game, just takes a bit longer than I imagine it would in english. Not understanding the story takes away from it too, I have read a poor translation of the opening though ^_^

I spent an entire hour of today losing at Fight Night Round 3. Sucked. I think i' ll break out my Commodore 64 and see if it still works.
