Owain
It' s all these things added together that makes kikizo a damn near perfect games site. thank you

No, thank you...

Terry Bogard
GROUP HUG!!!!!!1!!!

Where on earth is fathoms at times like this?

Silentbomber
as the Site gets bigger we will be awash with new members and basicly spamers. Nothing wrong with the new members but we will lose our Function as a Good Forum

We will aim for this not to be the case. There are always new members coming here and I think everyone sets a good example to them. When there are significantly more members there will be moderators, and I will make sure that they are mods who don' t let the place go downhill.

mxpx182:
That could work out pretty good. As long as this doesnt happen. Say ohhhhhhh some random guy, let' s call him Moe Redifer, no, Joe Bedifer wins one month, create alternate account, post 90 posts, give to self, rinse wash repeat.

Hmmm... good point... but as admins, we can see a) people' s IP address and also b) the mailing address where games are sent. It would be a fair amount of hard work to manage the double personality... and also DaRoosh' s idea could fix it altogether...

DaRoosh65
Adam, you might want to have the previous winner submit their top three (in priority order) to you. That way, if there' s an issue with the top choice, Adam can have the final decision. Or, something like that...

Yes, superb idea -- or perhaps better, to solve what mxpx says, they could email three choices, and then Kikizo staff picks one at random (or not). This would work much better.

I am looking forward to getting this process started... but must get the most recent 4/5 winners announced first. Having said that, that' s what I have been saying for the last duck knows how long... so why don' t we just start now?

whatabout_paul was the winner for November. We now need December' s winner. So paul please go ahead and look back through the December forum activity (try to take note of use in all three forum areas) and make a note of who you think has contributed best to the board in terms of a) informative posts b) good quality discussion c) good balance of replies and topic starts d) good attitude, consistent use, no obvious " post count raiser" waste topics and replies, ... etc etc etc. Then, just email or PM me three hopefuls, and we' ll work through the winners for Jan, Feb and March afterwards. Hopefully we will then be able to always keep this free game system up to date. Let it begin!

I think it' s something like when gangsters have to wash the money they steal. Like say you' re a fine china importer, and you pilfer a whole pile of it off of your comptetitor, you have to send out a thug to " wash the dishes" .

Is there a way to only look at posts from certain months, or does whatabout_paulhave to go through every post and see who poste in December??? That seems like it' d take a long time, and be pretty easy to screw up, only because we' re now 5 months removed from then. Since you guys were already working on it, wouldn' t it make sense for you to list the last 4 month winners, and then start this process? Hey though, I guess if whatabout_paul is up to it then giver er' beans!!!

But we hadn' t made a start yet...! It should not be too hard. In the games forum, if you go to page 8 of the topic listings, that takes you to where December activity sort of begins, so just browse topics moving forwards until you have a good idea of who did what for the month. It does take a while but it will be fun to do on a one-off occasion rather than, well, me having to do it (or not as the case may be) each month.

Once we have a December winner announced, that winner will choose January' s winner, and so on, until we are up to date and ready to choose April' s winner in a few weeks.

It' s what happens when you' re out on a date, a date you' ve been looking forward to for so long, you' re at a ritzy restaurant and realize that you Nor your date has the money to pay for the wonderful meal you just had. So to help pay for said meal, both you and your date are escorted to the kitchen area, to a large sink stock piled with dirty dishes. You' re both then given aprons and are then instructed to clean ALL of the dishes in the sink, and more on the way until they feel you' ve worked off the cost of the dinner.

And while you' re doing this, your date is glaring at you as if you have 3 heads.

A very detailed description there, Bogard... voice of experience?

I think it would be very difficult to work off the cost of a good meal by washing dishes at minimum wage, for anything resembling a nice meal you' d probably be there all week. Alternatively - run.
