ORIGINAL: Yeti

I maybe wrong, but on the basis of Assassins Creed being formely a Ps3 exclusive, I would assume Ubisoft have had more development time with this game on the Ps3. So for them to be having memory issues with the machine at such a late stage, is a little worrying.

Even once these issues are resolved the game will still suck.

On a first note, be nice Tiz

Yeti!

AC was originaly announced for the PS3 before being announced for the Xbox 360. Though it was later proven that the first time it was shown, at the PS3 announcement, they were playing it off 360 hardware and not the PS3.

Infact im not even sure they have shown the PS3 version yet, and if they are having trouble getting it to run probably, its likely its the 360 version thats been shown more or less exclusively, just like we havent seen footage from the Ps3 version of GTA4 (to my knoweledge)

Fact of the matter is, AC has always been planned for the 360. Sony payed Ubi to wait with the 360 announcement

During E3, the first thing I noticed when they showed off the game was the body of a killed enemy floating in the air. The announcer kind of laughed nervously while the demonstrator quickly jumped over it. Not a big deal of course, it' s still a demo. But in a way it wouldn' t surprise me if these kind of little things are still there when the game gets released. Especially with Ubisoft. The game seemed to have an interesting setting but there was something with it in the end that didn' t appeal that much to me.

On the other hand, it didn' t look really like he was complaining. More like making a statement about how things are. It' s interesting though to see someone actually saying that all consoles present a challenge. Instead of those developers only praising one console.

Sorry guys, I just haven' t had that much time to keep up to date with stuff over the last year due to other commitments... so please excuse my noobity.. I was just curious over the exact nature of the Ps3' s memory issue' s.. and why it only seems to have become apparent at such a late stage of development. anyone know specifics?

The PS3 version was shown behind closed doors at E32007. That was the first time the media saw it. Before that only the 360 version had been shown.

I keep hearing bits and pieces about the unusual " marionette" control scheme. Does this mean some crappy experiment with controls that aren' t going to feel tight?

The games certainly looking atlot more fluid in recent Videos. Also like the Ambient crowd Sound and medievil Setting. Still got a feeling it' s gonna be a poor game.

Yeah!! NMH' s kicks ass!! It' s one that i regard as a ' Proper console' game opposed to Gimped-down PC games translated for a quick buck...

Full support to proper console Developers like Suda 51, treasure, Sega, Nintendo, Capcom, Media Molecule, Konami, Team Ninja, Hudson Soft, AM2, Intelligent system' s and all the rest i missed

I must admit Wii is the future, with games like no more heroes they are showing their support for all types of games. Which is little i can say for other companies.
