Good news regarding the Clone Wars, although full 3d just seems like it would take away from the unique visuals it has right now.

As for the other series, a little disappointed. I was hoping to see them go back to the past a little, somewhere during the Knights of the Old Republic era. That' s a very interesting time period, with all of the Sith and all. Of course, I' ve always wanted more lightsaber battles than anything else...which is probably the reason I' m shying away from the current show.

I was actually hoping the next series would take place after Jedi, where Luke goes all crazy and actually does join the dark side and becomes one of the sith for a while. I' m not making that up either, in star wars cronology that really happens. I' d even heard strong rumors confirming this and that Mrak Hamil would be reprising his role. What with his scar ridden face it wouldn' t be hard to make him look the part of an evil sith master.

I actually like the cartoon Star Wars and I know my son will be thrilled when I tell him this news.

As for the other series, we' ll see when it happens.

So what should the upcoming TV series be about?

I want to see Han Solo and what he was like in his imperial days and when he saved Chewie from slavery/death...why do I know that? Im not even a big Star Wars fan...

It is " rumored" that John Woo will be involved in the making of the TV series.

Me too. Last thing I want to see is two jedis diving in slow motion while some storm troopers shoot lasers at them double handed from a blurry background shot. I hate John woo.
