I might be one of the few who actually enjoyed the first Saints Row, so all of this does indeed sound promising.

I think that I will play a transexual named Majiknitro. Something about that name for a transexual is just...........well........... DAMN SEXY!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!

looking forward to SR2 should be a good laugh, as long as they don' t try and burden it with some sort of plot.

Mine was a fat asian.

I got bored of Saints Row pretty quickly. It was nice for a couple of weeks and i think they did a lot of stuff right, ...but i don' t think they did enough differently to establish a proper franchise.

GTA IV is going to destroy Saints Row 2 a million times over.

GTA has always had comic undertones, but Saint' s Row is far more over the top, & that kinda appealed to me. IE, shuttling hookers back & forth from their pimps. Violence & sexuality are pretty big components of both games. GTA included it, Saints Row reveled in it, to almost a comedic level.

The gameplay isn' t anything amazing, but occasionally you just need to play a game because it' s funny. The Family Guy game is a good example. The gameplay mechanics were inherently flawed, but it was worth drudging through it to get to the comedy behind it.

Seriously though, now that GTA' s controls are supposed to not suck, SR2 seems to be a moot point.
