The game appear to be slightly washed out compared to the 360 original, but as long as you have a TV with a vivid colour mode (or even a game mode) then it should look identical.

The REALLY GOOD NEWS is that the texture detail hasn' t been scaled back. Most textures in PS3 games so far have been subdued, but UE3.0 supports texture streaming so it allows for higher than normal resolution textures... something very evident in Gears of War.

The models, textures, particle effects, lighting and shadowing all look identical, and Gamespot claim more physics interaction during explosions which is nice because the physics in the 360 version are very cool anyway.

As long as the online aspects are more stable i' ll be buying this upon release.

The lighting is different in some areas , ...in fact, i think i kinda prefer it. Other than thhat it looks pretty much identical.

The game ends just in the middle of something huge,its retarded,but still great game 91/100 for me.

I can' t lie. I prefer the lighting on the PS3 version far better than the 360 from your screens there Majik. It' s got less of a single colored filter effect. The shiny bits on his gear really stand out in this case.

Ubisoft should handle PS3 ports for everything.
