i don' t know ninja scroll or probably i' ve seen it but i didn' t know the title i' m sure that there are so many other movies i' ve seen and each day i add some, however i avoid to rate some movies because when you are a kid, your perspective is different than you are in your 20' s. i remember con air was a great movie but i was 15 year old i guess, so i avoided it.

You have " The Last samurai" but you don' t have " The Seven Samurai" ... Akira Kurosawas masterpiece is my No1.

I think you' re giving away such high ratings too easily, but here are my favorites: Terminator 3 - best movie ever and in no order, just favorites V for Vendetta Batman Begins Fearless The Matrix Ong Bak p.s. I' ve got a hold of Seven Swords and should be watching that sometime soon.

vx chemical about leon , when i was 16 year old i' ve watched that movie and boy it impressed me soooo much, when i start making my list vote , i rented it again so i would have a more recent point of view, and well the impact was not that good i mean the movie is still good but it went down from 10 to 8 ( and i only showed you guys the movies that got 10 and 9 IMO), so i really wonder was that just me who got the impression because i saw again the movie much later on... as about KILL BILL, i just watched it yesterday vol1, and i' ll watch vol 2 today i guess, but i' ve been disapointed that movie is overrated, what i noticed is that people give a lot of credit to anything stylish, querentino himself didn' t consider this movie to please the market but it was for himself, feeling nostalgic about the old martial chineese movies... i liked the character " the bride" , but uma thurman didn' t do it right IMO, i loved the anime scene and the stylish direction , but the story wasn' t good, and dialogues weren' t striking... i gave it an 8/10 which is still good but for me definitly not a classic.

Because in between ridiculous almost non-stop action arnold pulls off hilarious one liners like " We need a new vehicle." Besides that the story is fxing awesome, acting is awesome, special effects are awesome, and the chicks are hot. The only thing bad about the movie is when the huge truck is tipping over it looks kinda fake because of the non shinyness of it.

Aliens: SE (it' s all about the remote sentries) Fight Club (almost?! a classic movie? Instant classic surely - though that term is an oxymoron) Grosse Point Blank (ace movie, ace music) Star Wars IV-VI (the " non-buggered about with" versions That' s all you need... ...' cept for maybe Spirited Away... (...and Transformers: The Movie! My list counts, now! :P)

I don' t know about " well made cinema" or anything like that, so I' ll just give a list of movies that I can just pop in ANY time and watch. Gladiator The Negotiator Lethat Weapon 4 Ninja Scroll Lord of the Rings Trilogy The Matrix (the first one only) The Last Samurai The Incredibles Goldmember Minority Report The Mask of Zorro True Lies Desperado Conspiracy Theory Jurrassic Park Demolition Man Aliens Heat Carlito' s Way Terminator 2 Star Wars Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade Back to the future (like 1 and 3 the best)

My favourite films are: 1. Blade Runner 2. Chrouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 3. Star Wars IV-VI 4. Leon 5. Daremo Shiranai (aka Nobody Knows) 6. Se7en 7. Seven Samurai 8. OldBoy 9. Braveheart 10. The Matrix (ONLY the first one) I have to say I like your list Abasoufiane, and I agree with most of them, thoufg I haven’t seen all of them. Therefore I shall only list the once I very much disagree on. They are: Analyze This Face/Off Frequency The Last Samurai (â€NO WAI!!!†Quote of the O RLY owl) Ocean' s Eleven (depends. Is it the old one, or the new one?) Swordfish Still, that’s a nice list if you ask me, even though I still miss some films that neither you nor I have mentioned.
