According to Next Generation' s summary of a recent Bloomberg story, it looks like Sony is having problems finalizing its hardware specs for the eagerly awaited PlayStation 3, due out this November in Japan and the US. But the inability to settle on final hardware specifications is making some top-tier publishers nervous. In the Bloomberg story, both THQ and Sega expressed dismay about the state of Sony' s PS3 hardware. Sega of America president Simon Jeffrey complains that Sony has yet to send PS3 development kits to many of its developers, and even goes so far as the say that there " certainly will not be a lot of titles available" for the PS3 when it launches this November. THQ' s president, Brian Farrell, also expresses concern with the state of Sony' s PS3 hardware. THQ had once planned on creating a PlayStation 3 game based on The Sopranos; now, that game will come out for the Xbox 360 instead, at least for the time being.this from gamepro.com " THQ' s president, Brian Farrell, also expresses concern with the state of Sony' s PS3 hardware.
