As for Kevin Costner' s last good movie? That one. Y' know, the one where he' s all like, yeah, and um. No nevermind, that was Val Kilmer.

Open Range was his last Amazingly...amazing movie. If you are looking for just plain " good" then The Guardian was " good"

Really? I have it on DVD, never opened it. Judging by the cover I thought it was boring. Should I watch it?

Was that when he played the character Wyat Earp in a western. Dances with wolves was a good movie and the guardian was a good movie as well.

It was more of a rhetorical question just to lead interest into the " Mr. Brooks" trailer. But whatever sparks a conversation works for me. I havent seen any Costner movies since i watched Robin Hood some months ago. I dont really keep up with him so maybe I' ll give those flicks a go.

I kinda liked his role in " 3000 miles to Graceland" ,obviously not his best work but probably his most recent that didn' t highlight the fact that he' s a shitty actor. It' s one of those movies that is so bad it' s entertaining in spite of the fact.

If I' m a sucker for one thing with movies it would be kickass lines. I' ll sit through a terrible movie (the entire movie) if the movie has just one line that is entertaining (for whatever reason). I' ll buy movies that I don' t like if it has just one great line.

This movie has a few lines that I like. One of which that cracks me up every time is when:

Costner' s character (a psychopath) beats up the sports fanatic in his own van after he picked him up when the cops are looking for him. As the cop peers into the van Costners character pops up in a ridiculous costume that the sports fanboy was wearing to promote his favorite team. He says:

" Pork Chop, Pork Chop Greasy, Greasy We Beat Their Team Fucking Easy Easy"

It' s a dumb line in a dumb movie but I always fucking laugh at that.
