I finally said, " whatever I' ll get the PS3 next year" and went up to EB yesterday. Now I' ve got a great 360 but absoultely nothing to play. It' s gonna be a while before I can hop on live for downloads, so I' m thinking about picking up an actual game. Any suggestions? I don' t have money for new so price is a consideration.

I like just about everything except sports games. I' d rather go out and play that sort of thing myself. (things like SSX & table tennis don' t count) But if you' re making me pick though Dasher, I am a fan of shooters. Something that has moderate replay value. It doesn' t need to be Oblivion kind of replay, just something I won' t finish in a couple hours. (I got the 360 last night, and I' m already over half way through my friends copy of Halo)

Doa4 is quite hard to beat the whole game and has replay value.....then again most of it is like online... i' d probably say either fight night or pgr3.....maybe?

I think if you like shooters, you' ll like G.R.A.W (Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter).
Y' see the dangerous things with most of these games is that the replay value lies
in the online modes... Oblivion is the only game that doesn' t really have that..

If you' re a family kind of person, and you play games heavily with other people
then get...er..

Well, It' s not going to be an amazing amount of time untill I can hop on live, So I don' t think I' ll mind " paying for potential" . I was just looking at CoD:2 on ebay, I' ve only played the desert rats demo in wal-marts for the past 6 months, but it looks pretty good. I could secure a copy for 35, so I' m thinking about it. What' s the online like?

My list goes as such in no particular order:
PGR3 ($40 US used)
Why? Because Burnout was nothing but a port so wait til next time if you desirse such racing...or wait for Flatout Next Gen.

Call of Duty 2 ($50 US used)
Why? Unless you have the PC version this game is ace compared to the other FPS on the console at the moment. There' s also Prey, I liked the idea and stuff, but couldnt get into the demo much so I dunno about the retail.

Elder Scrolls:Oblivion ($Unknown for used)
Why: Not only is it a great RPG, it' s friggin massive so it will feel up plenty of your free time. Its the best deal for your money as you can survive off this game for somtime until you get the funds for more purchases

GRAW (Used $45-50 Used)
Why: Awsome Single Player, Multiplyer is a mixed bag but improved if you gather the money for the Chapter 2 pack.

Agreed. I played the demo a couple days ago at a friends, and I instantly fell in love with the bowling ball. Zombie chunkin' rocks!
